Joran van der Sloot has confessed

I just heard on Fox News that Joran van der Sloot has confessed to the murder of Stephany Flores Martinez.  He told investigators that he went out for coffee and when he came back, he found her using his laptop computer.  Stephany had googled his name and was reading about his alleged murder of Natalee Holloway. This was what caused him to go into a rage and kill her. Joran said that they argued about her invasion of his privacy on his laptop and then he attacked her.

Phil Keating, a reporter who is in Peru covering the case, said that Joran’s confession will help him to get a reduced sentence.  The maximum sentence for murder in Peru is 35 years, but he will get a lighter sentence because of his confession, and could be out in 6 to 10 years.

The autopsy report has been released and it shows that she had a open wound on her right hand, dark bruises on her face, a dark red bruise on the inside of her elbow (caused when he grabbed her arm), red bruises on her knees and green bruises on her feet, a broken neck, scratches on her neck, and a wound on the back of her head.

The mattress had been pulled off the bed and the sheets were off the mattress.

A tennis racket and a pair of tennis shoes were found in the room.  The tennis racket had allegedly been used to beat her.  The white shirt that he was wearing when he entered the room with Stephany was draped over the body.  She was still wearing the black blouse that she wore when she entered the room, but not her jeans.

The shirt that Joran wore when he left the hotel had traces of blood on it.

At 11 p.m. on Tuesday night, a woman called Joran’s room.  When there was no answer, the hotel clerk knocked on the door.  She then spoke to her supervisor who said that Joran had left without paying his hotel bill.  On Wednesday, a hotel staff member finally opened the room and found the gory scene.

I suspected from the very beginning that Joran had killed her in a fit of rage because she confronted him with the allegations about Natalee Holloway.  Stephany’s father has been quoted as saying something to the effect that Stephany “sacrified herself” for justice in the Natalee Holloway case. Her father has also been quoted as saying that Stephany “was the instrument” in getting justice for Natalee.  I suspect that Stephany, who had been playing poker with Joran for four days, knew all about Joran and Natalee, and she went to his room to find out the truth from Joran himself.

On May 13th, the day that Joran left Aruba for Columbia, on his way to Peru, the Attorney General in Aruba told the U.S. Attorney that Joran was leaving.  On May 10th, the FBI had caught Joran in a sting operation and had enough evidence to arrest him for extortion, but they didn’t.  When the FBI found out that Joran was going to a poker tournament in Lima, Peru, did they find a female poker player in Lima to confront Joran and try to get a confession from him that he had killed Natalee?  I wouldn’t put it past Beth Twitty to try something like this.  We know that she set Joran up for the extortion charge; what else did she do?

There has been a lot in the news about the Flores family googling Joran’s name.  Allegedly, they did this only after Stephany was murdered and her father was in a rage when he found out about Joran.  Is it possible that the family googled Joran’s name before she was murdered after they found out that she was working with the FBI in another sting operation?

  1. So I’m guessing you are Dutch or German and you just can’t believe that a good little sociopath like Joran could kill anyone. I suppose this same sort of tribalism is what motivates you to rehabilitate the Nazis?

    • I am guessing that you have been so brainwashed in hatred of the German people that you extend your hatred to the Dutch people as well. I am also guessing that you flunked reading comprehension. I did not write anything about not believing that Joran could kill anyone. In fact, I specifically wrote that I had suspected from the beginning that Joran had killed Stephany. The point that I was trying to make in this blog post is contained in this paragraph which I wrote:

“On May 13th, the day that Joran left Aruba for Columbia, on his way to Peru, the Attorney General in Aruba told the U.S. Attorney that Joran was leaving. There was no mention of Nazis anywhere in what I wrote. Why do you speculate that I am motivated to rehabilitate Nazis? Nazis have nothing to do with the murder of Stephany, so why did you bring it up? I am guessing that you have been so brainwashed that you see a Nazi behind every tree.

Although Dutch sounds a little like Deutsch and some Americans pronounce Deutsch as Dutch, the Dutch people in the Netherlands are not the same ethnic group as the Germans. You should not judge people by the hatred that you have been taught in your Holocaust classes in school.

    • Nice to hear from you, Glen Beck. How can you say that when you have a show on Fox News yourself?
