Carolyn Yeager analyzes the changes made by Marion Wiesel to Elie Wiesel’s “Night”

Carolyn Yeager has a blog with the title Elie Wiesel Cons the World and the sub-title A website dedicated to exposing the false testimony of the world’s most famous Holocaust survivor. Her latest article is a detailed explanation of the changes that Marion Wiesel, the wife of Elie Wiesel, made to the book Night in order to make the book into a “memoir” in which the dates in Elie’s “novel” now conform to what was actually happening in the real world.

I had not realized the significance of these changes until I read the blog post, dated February 17, 2012 by Ms. Yeager.  The book Night was changed because Oprah made it her book club selection and advertised it as a “memoir.”  I recall that Elie Wiesel had a website at that time, on which he referred to Night as a “novel.”  The changes made the “novel” into a “memoir.”  Ms. Yeager has explained all this very clearly on her website (which I call a blog).

This quote from the article written by Carolyn Yeager sums up the changes that were made to the book:

In other words, the 1955 Yiddish version, the 1958 French version, and the 1960 English version (of Night) generally agree—only the “corrected” 2006 translation (by Marion Wiesel) is different.  So, are these really errors of translation that Marion Wiesel is fixing for us?  Or are they not simply problems for Elie Wiesel?  Under close scrutiny, the Elie Wiesel narrative has huge holes which bring up embarrassing questions, and this is what Marion Wiesel’s new translation was meant to head off.

Elie Wiesel’s Nobel prize should be taken away from him and given instead to Carolyn Yeager for the amazing work that she has done in exposing him as a fraud.

  1. “A site that denies this simple, indisputable fact, by a person who thinks Jews did 9/11 and believes Jews stole the identity of whites, who are the real Jews of the Bible is an embarrassment to revisionists who use the scientific method.” –Comment by Holocaust Denier — February 23, 2012 @ 2:28 am

@Holocaust Denier I must comment, with the strongest conviction, that if you don’t realize that Jews did, in fact, do 9/11, then your capacity for rational thought and analysis must be seriously questioned. Either that or your honesty.
The trail of empirical evidence, along with a basic understanding of how Jewish political and economic Power manifests it’self in today’s world, indicates almost conclusively, that 9/11 was a false flag terrorist conspiracy originating, carried out, and covered up, by people who can be identified as overwhelmingly Jewish. More to the point, we can say that the Israeli Government along with Jewish members of the US Government establishment, along with Jewish owned media outlets, along with Mossad agents and sayinim, conspired together to committed this crime for the advancement of Jewish Banking/Corporate hegemony, and for world Jewry’s hegemony as a whole. Through and through, from start to finish, to the current cover up, we can safely conclude that this was a Jewish conspiracy. No other term better describes it than Jewish.
By definition, a judgement is a subjective conclusion based upon the rational analysis of various pieces of evidence, along with relevant information, arguments and logic. A decision of guilty or not guilty is arrived at by that process. The scientific method cannot directly determine the outcome of the judgement,. It only contributes as part of the evidence. That being said, if you examine this collection of evidence: combined with the historic evidence of Jewish behaviour/subversion, and come to different conclusion from the thesis that ‘Jews done 9/11’, then please inform us so we can then question your sanity and, or, honesty.

  2. I would still prefer that cool heads prevail and that like-minded people would not be so feisty towards each other. It does not help the cause, really. All differences of opinions could be discussed in a friendly manner.
Carolyn does a great job in her research, which is still in progress.

  3. I, too, thought Carolyn Yeager suspected the much older Lázár Wiesel wrote the Yiddish version of Night because I thought Nicholas Gruner has made this claim. Now, I’m confused. The Lina Wertmüller film Seven Beauties may be the source of Gruner’s coprophilic fantasy because there’s a memorable Auschwitz latrine dunking scene in it. With the sidelining of Germar Rudolph, Carlo Mottogno is considered the premiere holocaust revisionist scholar now. He weighs in on primary source documents relevant to the Elie Wiesel controversy here:

    “In short:

    The Auschwitz ID number A-7713 was assigned on 24 May 1944 to Lazar Wiesel, born on 4 September 1913 at Maromarossziget, who was later registered at Buchenwald under the ID number 123165;
The Auschwitz ID number A-7712 was assigned on 24 May 1944 to Abraham Viezel, born on 10 October 1900 at Maromarossziget, registered at Buchenwald on 26 January 1945 under the ID number 123488, who died in this camp on 2 February.
Elie Wiesel has stated under oath that, at Auschwitz, he was assigned the ID number A-7713 and his father the ID number A-7712.
    This statement is obviously false.

There is still the problem of the questionnaire filled out at Buchenwald by Lázár Wiesel on 22 April 1945. This detainee was born at Màromarossziget on 4 October 1928, he was a student, was arrested on 16 April 1944 and interned at Auschwitz and Monowitz. According to the Buchenwald Gedenkstätte, he was sent to Paris on 16 July 1945 with a convoy of surviving children and is registered on the respective list. Is this Lázár Wiesel the writer Elie Wiesel?

We see right away that the dates of birth are not identical: Lázár was born on 4 October 1928, Elie on 30 September of the same year. The birth certificate presented by Miklos Grüner for Lazar Vizel shows yet another date: 6 October 1928. As Lázár Wiesel, by his own hand, signed the questionnaire mentioned above – using the last name “Wiezel” – we may exclude an error as far as the date of his birth is concerned.

The second important point is that the Auschwitz ID number of Lázár Wiesel is not known, but it could not have been A-7713 in any case, because at the Auschwitz Museum there is only one ID number A-7713 in the men’s series, assigned to Lazar Wiesel, born on 4 September 1913. What is more, on the transport manifest for the transport from Auschwtz to Buchenwald there is only one Lazar Wiesel, the one born on 4 September 1913 and having the Auschwitz ID number A-7713. Where did Lázár Wiesel come from? And what connection is there between Lazar Wiesel and Lázár Wiesel or Lazar Vizel who have such similar record data (except for the dates of birth).

At the moment, we cannot answer these questions.”

    Comment by who+dares+wings — February 22, 2012 @ 11:41 am

    • Well, you, who-dares-wings, cannot answer anything–that is clear. All you do is cut and paste. Being only slightly familiar with what is on “Elie Wiesel Cons The World”, you are not in a position to say what Carolyn Yeager “suspects” or doesn’t suspect. The word “suspected” was obviously chosen carefully … it’s better than “claimed.” But I don’t want to answer you any further, because I want ‘holocaust denier’ to be a man, or a real revisionist, and answer for what he has written about me or else stop trolling. To paraphrase “Where’s the Tattoo?” … where’s the proof?

      Comment by Carolyn Yeager — February 22, 2012 @ 1:34 pm

    • Hey whodares, having researched multiple Juden, I’ve noticed that inconsistencies in dates are the norm, not some sort of proof of Stolen Identity as Jew Gruner / Yeager claim.

Gruner and Yeager have only “researched” one person.

I have requested she research 10 Jews – finding 100% consistent dates and name spellings on all documents is not likely.

      Comment by Holocaust Denier — February 22, 2012 @ 2:36 pm

    • who-dares-wings,
I am sort of sorry for being so sharp with you. I’m sure you’re more than slightly familiar with EWCTW, but it is a very confusing story … as everything to do with Elie Wiesel (and also holocaust) has been purposely confused. So it takes quite a bit of study and attention to unravel it. Carlo Mattogno couldn’t do it and didn’t want to spend any more time trying. In the third and last article he wrote about it, he did say:

**The other possibility – that Elie Wiesel is himself Lazar Wiesel – must be excluded for obvious reasons of chronology: he would now be 97 years of age! On the other hand, why “change” the date of his birth once again, to 30 September 1928, after having “falsified” it to 4 October 1928?**

“Must be excluded.” So he did come up with some sort of conclusion that the two men were not the same. ‘Holocaust denier’ says they are. Mattogno didn’t embrace the simpleton notion that everything that doesn’t fit his theory can be dismissed as a mistake … an error of bookkeeping. Mattogno presented the problem, but didn’t come to any final conclusions. And remember, he wrote these in 2010–two years ago. I started my website in July 2010. And my more important articles have been posted at the Revisionist Blog, just where Mattogno’s appear.

Why doesn’t ‘holocaust denier’ attack Carlo Mattogno for his “theories” and his attention to Nickolaus Grüner’s book and ideas? ‘Holocaust denier’ doesn’t dare do that. Nor should anyone fall for ‘holocaust denier’s’ claim of being an expert researcher. He has made plenty of mistakes in his research, and only does well with the easy stuff. He tends to claim victory before he ever has it. There are no easy victories.

      Comment by Carolyn Yeager — February 22, 2012 @ 3:46 pm

  4. Carolyn’s original claim was that Wiesel stole the identity of a much older Wiesel, who wrote the Yiddish night. She has no case regarding that, since the original Yiddish states the age of 15, so she’s going off on this pointless tangent. What a waste of time, and what a diversion of revisionist attention.

This is all because of the Jew Holohoax survivor Gruner who has been thoroughly debunked. (This sick cretin claimed to have fell into the Auschwitz latrine for 24 hours and let Jews defecate on him.)

Thanks Carolyn, for misleading Revisionists with Jewish “Stolen Identity” lies ! It’s no surprise that someone who believes in Christian Identity believes that Wiesel stole an identity.

    Comment by Holocaust Denier — February 22, 2012 @ 12:56 am

    • What you really need to do, holocaust denier, is to quote where Carolyn made the “original claim that Wiesel stole the identity of a much older Wiesel.” You keep “claiming” that without showing evidence.

Same with “This is all because of the Jew Holohoax survivor Gruner …” What does “all because” refer to? You are very sloppy in your writing, which reveals a sloppiness of thinking. Clean up your act.

      Comment by Carolyn Yeager — February 22, 2012 @ 8:26 am

    • Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that Holocaust Denier and Carolyn are on the same side, although she would call herself a “revisionist.” I refer to her “website” as a blog because it is about her journey to the Truth. Some people put up a blog about their trip to Europe. Her blog is about her on-going research, as she reports on her findings in real time. Her latest post is very important because she points out the deliberate changes made to a book in order to promote the official Holocaust story. This is something that the public should know about, and that is why I called attention to it on my blog.

      • furtherglory, I appreciate your comment (very nicely put — EWCTW is a work in progress), but don’t let holocaust denier off the hook. He certainly knows, or should know, the rules of backing up what he says with the actual sources. He keeps carping about this, but never brings forth any basis for it. Every time I challenge him to do so, he goes silent. What’s with that? Let him answer.

        Comment by Carolyn Yeager — February 22, 2012 @ 11:39 am

        • You said Wiesel didn’t write the original Yiddish night – then who did? All you have to back up this stupid Stolen Identity theory is a Jewish liar who claims a much older Wiesel wrote Night – which is impossible because someone 15-16 on the entrance into Auschwitz wrote it.

You are “Christian Identity” – you believe JEWS stole the identity of the “Real Christians” and the Bible is true. Talk about sloppy thinking.

You keep claiming Wiesel didn’t write anything, that he was never there, but who is he then?

Who wrote the original Yiddish book and kept silent as it was stolen? An additional Wiesel, in addition to the ones on the camp documents?

What a joke. Furtherglory, dont’ fall for this nonsense. It’s Jew Gruner’s jealousness. Gruner claims Wiesel isn’t a Jew.

          Comment by Holocaust Denier — February 22, 2012 @ 2:32 pm

          • You still have not presented any sources for your accusations. You just keep making them without any proof, evidence, quotes from me … nothing. That is because there isn’t any! Yet you expect people to take you seriously. Furtherglory ought to cut you off from posting here if you can’t behave as a normal, sane person. Yes, I said sane. On Codoh Forum you are not allowed to keep posting the same thing without answering legitimate questions put to you. It’s called “dodging” and that’s what you’re doing. The same as trolling. That is why you come here and do it.

So, I’m still waiting for your sources for what you say … and so is everyone else, I ‘suspect.’

            Comment by Carolyn Yeager — February 22, 2012 @ 3:13 pm

            • Your own website and your CODOH posts are the sources

              For instance –

              under “Conclusions” –

              2. Elie Wiesel is the author of Night, written in French with the assistence of his editor and probably Francois Mauriac, but he cannot have been the author of Un di Velt Hot Gesvign.

              WHO WROTE IT THEN?

Here’s another absurd sentence from your article – “We make a leap of faith to believe that Eliezer Wiesel has to be Elie Wiesel” Really! A shortened form of the name? A leap of faith?

Let’s talk about your leap of faith, your belief in Christian Identity, the belief that the Jews stole the identity of the “real” Jews – Christians.

Furtherglory and others, don’t be sucked into a site built on backing up Niklaus Gruner’s jealous nonsense. Revisionists must SHAME liars like Gruner, not prop them up as heroes who just gave us a hail mary pass to win Freedom from the Holocaust myth.

You love to keep backing away from your conclusions – so tell us your conclusions? Tell us your idiotic conclusion, that Wiesel isn’t Wiesel, but someone else, and wasn’t in Auschwitz, and didn’t write the original Yiddish book, but stole it from “the real Eliezer Wiesel” while that guy kept quiet.

  6. Those interested in the real history of WWII and the holocaust should tune into Carolyn Yeager’s and Deanna Spingola’s regular podcasts. They’re a wealth of information backed by deep lay research which in my opinion is more compelling than most of the journalistic and academic histories slapped together to feed the market. Veronica Clark is another WWII historian I enjoy listening to. She’s sometimes a guest on The Deanna Spingola Show.

Young Eric Hunt got into a San Francisco hotel elevator with Elie Wiesel and ended up in jail for a year and a half. He naively thought he could convince Wiesel to come clean about the discrepancies in the narrative of Night that he’d noticed. Instead, he brought the wrath of the entire Holocaust Industry down upon his head and moves about the globe a marked man now.

Whoever Elie Wiesel is he’s got the perfect face to pull his charade off. With that permanent sad eyed “The Heaven’s Went Dark” expression he really looks the part of a man who has gazed into the pit and lived to tell about it.

  7. Hi, thanks for this write-up. I think I should make a slight correction, or clarification. Marion Wiesel didn’t make a new “corrected” translation of Night *because* of Oprah Winfrey, but because they had decided to market the book solely as an autobiography, and shake off, once and for all, the idea that it was a novel. The “corrections” were needed to get rid of dates, ages, and length of transportation times that didn’t correspond to the actual known facts about Elie Wiesel himself or the Hungarian deportation. They got Oprah (who at that time was more powerful/popular than Elie) to make it her book club choice just as this new version (with it’s corrections) came out. The popularity of Oprah kind of washed out the critical scrutiny, which was there but never made it into the mainstream. In return, Elie gave Oprah his foundation’s Humanitarian Award the following year, and gave her a special filmed tour of Auschwitz and an exclusive interview.

So what’s all this got to do with real history?

P.S. How interesting that Elie Wiesel had a website that called his book a novel. Do you have any more information on that? Currently he has his Foundation for Humanity website. There’s a name that says nothing. It does nothing too.

    Comment by Carolyn Yeager — February 21, 2012 @ 10:41 am

    • Thanks for making this clarification. I knew all this, but I just didn’t write it as well as you did. The website that I recall was Elie Wiesel’s personal website which was only one page. I don’t think it exists anymore.
