Say what? Shocked kid listens to Obama speech in 2009

The following quote is from a news article, which you can read in full here.  The title of the article is California School’s Holocaust Denial Assignment Requires ‘Reeducating’ of Misled Youth.

Assemblywoman Cheryl R. Brown (D-San Bernardino) revealed that her own father had served during WWII and had helped to liberate the Aushwitz (sic) concentration camp in Poland. He had told her about the smell of burned bodies as a child, writes the Times. “As a result of this assignment, we must now deal with reeducating young people who have been misled by this district,” Brown told the school board.

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.  And black soldiers in the U.S. Army liberated Aushwitz.  This was not the Auschwitz “death camp” but a different camp, in Poland, called Aushwitz. (Note the difference in the spelling of the names of these two camps.)

This quote is also from the article:

One frustrated Pasadena-based attorney Neal Fialkow, who was also present at the board meeting, said the damage may already be done, notes the Times. Addressing the school board, he said “You’ve planted a seed of doubt… Congratulations. You’ve taken a[n] historical fact and made it a matter of opinion. What’s next, 9/11 never happened?” he posited. “Every single child now has been infected.”

What a revolting development this is!  “Every single child [in the Rialto school district] has now been infected.  Is there any hope for these children?

I blogged about the liberation of Auschwitz on this blog post: https://furtherglory.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/january-27-2013-is-international-holocaust-remembrance-day/

  1. LETTER SEND TO ASSEMBLYWOMAN CHERYL R. BROWN

    Mrs. Brown,
You have claimed that your father liberated the concentration camp Auschwitz in Poland, accordnig to this article:
    http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-California/2014/07/17/Epic-Fail-Holocaust-California-School-Assignment-Requires-Reeducating-of-Misled-Youth
    You have claimed the following:
“Assemblywoman Cheryl R. Brown (D-San Bernardino) revealed that her own father had served during WWII and had helped to liberate the Aushwitz concentration camp in Poland. He had told her about the smell of burned bodies as a child, writes the Times. “As a result of this assignment, we must now deal with reeducating young people who have been misled by this district,” Brown told the school board.”
But according to the histofy facts, that camp was liberated by RKKA (Laborers & Peasants Red Army) of USSR.
Would you kindly verify for us: when father, who, I assume, was African-American, was serving in the Red Army of USSR and what was his rank?
Should you fail to veryfy your father’s service in the Red Army of USSR, your address to Rialto Unified School District will be considered as a biased, or even false testimony.
The concentration camp Auschwitz was liberated by Red (Soviet) Army.
    Sincerely,

    • Don’t forget to make us know about her response, Gasan.

I can’t wait to read her say: I’ve never said such a thing. U.S. reporters are liars who distorted my words…because testimonies about dead bodies and cremation at Buchenwald and Dachau are of no use for today’s Holo-myth, now the Holohoax moved to Poland.
      😉

  2. No! It’s all true! Her father was a black cavalryman who liberated all the camps one by one while riding a unicorn after the racist US Army denied him a horse

  3. Maybe Mrs Brown’s father was in the same Company as Obama’s White Uncle?

Sorry. I was forgetting there were no mixed-race Companies in the armies of the United States of Alabama (or is that Amerikike?) during WW2…😉

    • I wrote about Obama’s uncle on my website:

      Begin quote
Among the soldiers who helped to liberate Ohrdruf was Charles T. Payne, who is Senator Barak Obama’s great uncle, the brother of his maternal grandmother. Charles T. Payne was a member of Company K, 355th Infantry Regiment, 89th Infantry Division.

According to an Associated Press story, published on June 4, 2009, Charles T. Payne’s unit arrived at the Ohrdruf camp on April 6, 1945.

The following is an excerpt from the Associated Press story:

“I remember the whole area before you got to the camp, the town and around the camp, was full of people who had been inmates,” Payne, 84, said in a telephone interview from his home in Chicago.

“The people were in terrible shape, dressed in rags, most of them emaciated, the effects of starvation. Practically skin and bones.”

When Payne’s unit arrived, the gates to the camp were open, the Nazis already gone.

“In the gate, in the very middle of the gate on the ground was a dead man whose head had been beaten in with a metal bar,” Payne recalled. The body was of a prisoner who had served as a guard under the Germans and been killed by other inmates that morning.

“A short distance inside the front gate was a place where almost a circle of people had been … killed and were lying on the ground, holding their tin cups, as if they had been expecting food and were instead killed,” he said. “You could see where the machine gun had been set up behind some bushes, but the Germans were all gone by that time.”

He said he only moved some 200-300 feet (60-100 meters) inside of the camp. But that was enough to capture images so horrible that Gen. George S. Patton Jr. ordered townspeople into Ohrdruf to see for themselves the crimes committed by their countrymen – an order that would repeated at Buchenwald, Dachau and other camps liberated by U.S. soldiers.

“In some sheds were stacks of bodies, stripped extremely – most of them looked like they had starved to death. They had sprinkled lime over them to keep the smell down and stacked them several high and the length of the room,” Payne said.
      End quote

  4. Just to be fair: It appears the Breitbart site took some liberties. A link to the Breitbart article (also above): CALIFORNIA SCHOOL’S HOLOCAUST DENIAL ASSIGNMENT REQUIRES ‘REEDUCATING’ OF MISLED YOUTH. And there you can read this text (also above):

Assemblywoman Cheryl R. Brown (D-San Bernardino) revealed that her own father had served during WWII and had helped to liberate the Aushwitz (sic) concentration camp in Poland. He had told her about the smell of burned bodies as a child, writes the Times.

But Breitbart is paraphrasing — quite liberally, actually — from another article published in Contra Costa Times: Rialto Unified board member: Holocaust assignment was an ‘epic fail’. And there it says of Brown:

She called the assignment “indefensible,” saying that her father fought in the European theater during World War II. “He could always remember the smelling of the burning of the bodies,” Brown said Thursday. “‘I was there, I know it happened: I smelled the bodies.’”

So she never actually says her father helped liberate Auschwitz — just that he served in the European theater. And smelled burning bodies. It looks like Breitbart (reprehensibly) added the part about helping to liberate Auschwitz — at least it is not in the current version of the CCT story available on-line.

The part about burning bodies is almost certainly a lie, but it’s not clear who is responsible for that — Brown or her father. In any case, the fact that bodies may have been burned at war’s end has nothing to do with whether ‘the Holocaust’ happened or not.

  5. You know, little surprises me these days. Even that an obviously absurd falsehood like that probably went unchallenged in a public forum, where you would think there was at least one person who recognized it as total bullshit.

  6. If the farther of Assembly woman Cheryl R. Brown helped to liberate Auschwitz then im King of the penguins

  7. It’s really lucky for those “misled” kids that there is someone who liberated “Aushwitz” right in their midst and who would be able to remove their infection.

Oh, what great fortune. And he’s black.

    Unbelievable

  8. Re-education. Isn’t that something Chairman Mao established a network of camps for in China during the Cultural Revolution?

Yes, it’s here, too, now. Please don’t re-educate ME! I’ll agree to any nonsense you want me to agree to, just don’t re-educate me.

  9. What Americans liberate Auschwitz??? Nonsense, the US troops never got anywhere near the camp to liberate it. This liberating Auschwitz crap is infectious as Obama once said one of his relatives did just the same. If this woman cannot get the truth correct why should she be believed in any other matter and indeed why should she even be in office?

Would this brouhaha have happened had the subject matter been the JFK conspiracy or the moon landings? Both great moments in US history for different reasons but all the teacher was doing was asking for some critical reasoning and thought. Still we’re all ok to sleep well tonight because this fuckwit’s dad liberated Auschwitz and probably Aushwitz on the same day and way before those damned Russians got there…
