Three misconceptions about the Holocaust

The photo above shows Hungarian Jews arriving on a train at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Someone asked me this question today: “What are three misconceptions about the Holocaust?”

That is a hard question to answer because there is a myriad of misconceptions; it is difficult to narrow it down to just three, but I will try.

Misconception No. 1

Dr. Josef Mengele, who is typically not given the title of “doctor” even though he had not one, but two doctorate degrees, was the one and only person who did selections for the gas chamber at Auschwitz. He selected twins for his experiments, in which he allegedly did brutal operations, such as sewing twins together, back to back.

Misconception No. 2

There were no transit camps, to which the Jews were sent, before being sent farther on to the East. The camps, such as Treblinka, Belzec, Sobibor, and Chelmno were all death camps, where Jews were killed upon arrival.

Misconception No. 3

There were no morgues at Auschwitz and the other “death camps.”  What would normally have been a morgue, where bodies were kept until they could be burned, a few at a time in the cremaorium ovens, was actually a gas chamber where up to 2,000 Jews were gassed at one time.  This would have been a very inefficient system because there would not have enough ovens, at any of the camps, to burn the bodies in a timely manner, if this was the case.

This quote, about the Holocaust, is from Wikipedia:

Begin quote:

The Holocaust, sometimes called The Shoah (Hebrew: השואה), was when Nazi Germany killed people in a planned and forced way during World War II. Approximately six million Jews were killed,[1][2][3] as well as millions of others that the Nazis said were bad (e.g., Romani/Roma people, homosexuals, communists, nonwhites, the disabled, Slavs, transgender people and Jehovah’s Witnesses).[4][5][6][7][8][9][10] Many were rounded up, put in ghettos, forced to work in concentration camps and then killed in big gas chambers.[11]

End quote

If you dispute any of the information given by Wikipedia, you could end up going to prison, for up to 5 years, in 19 countries.

There are numerous fake stories about the Holocaust, including this fake photo, which I wrote about on this blog post:

  1. First, you’ll be required to read the Tour Information Guide under and take a brief
check (half-hour MAX) on that guide.

  2. As to the MiISCONCEPTION N. 2: Theresienstadt indeed had been a TRANSIT CAMP so for Czech as for German Jews as from January 1042 transports left so for East Ghettoes as for Auschwitz. From the East Ghettoes transports left for the EXTERMINATION CAMPS.
As to the MISCONCEPTION N 3; So the victims of the GAS CHAMNERS as of Deseases and Starvation had been burned so in the Death Camps as in the other Camps. At Theresienstadt there had been exactly a Crematorium where the Nazis brougt also the victims of some nearby Camps and Prisons. In October 1944 the cases with the ashes had been taken to and trown in the nearby Eger river.

    • Thank you for your comment. I meant to say “morgues” where bodies could be kept, not crematoria, where bodies were burned. I have corrected my blog post.

    • I was referring to the camps, such as Treblinka, Sobibor, Belzec and Chelmno which were strictly transit camps because there were no barracks for all the prisoners; there were only a few barracks for the Jewish helpers.

      Comment by furtherglory — June 8, 2015 @ 6:28 am

      • Jewish helpers? I’m guessing you’re not talking about people who do odd jobs around the house. What’s up with them?

  3. Furtherglory, you should replace the word “crematoria” with “morgues” in your Misconception No. 3. You wrote crematoria but then described morgues. The crematory is where you cremate bodies – where the actual ovens are.

    Comment by blake121666 — June 7, 2015 @ 5:59 pm

    • I should have added, no one thinks there were no crematoria.

      Comment by blake121666 — June 7, 2015 @ 6:14 pm

      • “no one thinks there were no crematoria”

Except in 2/3 of the alleged Nazi “extermination camps” (Treblinka, Belzec, Sobibor & Chelmno)… 😉

While numerous former “death camps” now downgraded to mere “concentration camps” were equipped with crematoria.

    • You are correct. I have corrected this error. Thank you for telling me.

      • I’ve been meaning to ask you. When you go overseas and go to the “tourist attractions”(sorry, but that’s what they are all starting to look like to me. Contorted history on a good day),do you ever get into debates with the “site historians”and tell them,” hey slick. I didn’t fall off the beet truck yesterday “. If not that do you just smile at ’em and think,”if you accept what your selling, then I’ve got ocean front property in Arizona I’d like to sell you”.

        • I have taken very few GUIDED tours, except for the first tours that I took at Auschwitz and Treblinka. I have been to Dachau several times, starting with my first tour in 1997, but never with a tour guide, not even on my first visit.

I avoid taking tours because I am afraid that I will laugh at the lies that are being told, and that this will cause me to get arrested.

On one of my tours of Dachau, there was a man standing just outside the camp, as I was leaving. He was conducting a survey to find out how well the paid tour guides at Dachau were doing.

I told him that I had not had a guided tour, but he asked me the questions, about the camp, anyway. I gave him truthful answers about the Dachau camp, and he was on the verge of having a heart attack because I was telling revisionist facts, which are not what is told to tourists by the guides. I gave him a fake name before I left because I was afraid that I would be arrested before I got out of the Memorial Site.

        • I wrote a blog post, 5 years ago, about one of the Dachau tour guides:

  4. Americans are so emotionally blindsided by the ratcheded up Holocaust histrionics they’re served up regularly in the media that they’ve never asked themselves why there’s a museum in the nation’s capital dedicated to the foreign victims of this foreign meta-event. The memorial in Wash DC to America’s WWII war dead was built about fibe years AFTER the USHMM’s door were open. No Americans died in the Holocaust yet there are museums and memorials in every state plus mandatory school curriculums to indoctrinate malleable children’s minds with the scientifically impossible story of the Nazi gas chambers and their millions of victims. Children are frog matched into Holocaust centers around the country by the busload and their teachers charged for the tickets to the temples of this new interntional cult of (bad) memory. Their visit is often the culmination of weeks or months studying The Diary of Anne Frank or Elie Wiesel’s atrocity novel Night at school. Sorcery is social engineering and the exclusive Holocaust fable has become the central theme of WWII history and the rigorously enforced moral lesson of the 21st century. It’s a rubber truncheon that media, schools, churches, pundits and politicians all beat us silly with whenever they can.

  5. The Hoax of the Twentieth Century now looks to become the Hoax of the Tweny-First Century quite as well.

  6. Well what about gas even being used. You said in one of your articles something like a 1,000 stiffs were given the once over by the coroner and no trace of gas was found in the bodies

    Comment by Tim — June 7, 2015 @ 4:55 pm

    • Yes, that was at Dachau. After they ran out of coal to fire the ovens, the bodies were taken to a hill and buried. These bodies were examined and found to have no traces of Zyklon-B. The Dachau Memorial Site is currently claiming that the shower room at Dachau was really a gas chamber, despite the evidence to the contrary.

      Comment by furtherglory — June 8, 2015 @ 6:32 am

      • Okay. Is this the same place where the shower heads were taken out of ? You have a picture in one of your posts. It was a “then vs now” type picture. The old picture showed shower heads in there, but in the new pic they were absent. It looked like there was a drain in the floor,so it would be a bit hard for the Hebs to explain that away.

        Comment by Tim — June 8, 2015 @ 7:20 am

        • Yes, the shower heads were in the room that is now claimed to have been a gas chamber.

When the Americans arrived to liberate the camp, the shower heads were hanging from pipes on the ceiling. The Americans converted the shower room into a gas chamber by lowering the ceiling to hide the pipes, then replacing the shower heads. After the reconstruction, done by the Americans, the shower heads were just stuck into the ceiling with no pipes. The ceiling had been lowered from 10 feet to 7 and a half feet.

In 2001, I photographed the last remaining shower head in the so-called gas chamber. Now that last remaining shower head has been stolen and there is nothing left except holes in the ceiling.

There were drains in the floor when the room was a shower room. During the American reconstruction of the shower room in which it was converted into a gas chamber, these drains were closed up and tourists are now told that the drains were fake drains that were put into to fool the victims into thinking that they were in a shower room.

I wrote about the floor drains in this previous blog post:

Tourists are now told that the Zyklon-B gas pellets were thrown into the gas chamber through two little windows on the outside wall of the gas chamber. These little windows were constructed by the Americans after they learned that the gas was in the form of pellets which would not go through the tiny holes in a shower head.
