New book that I can’t wait to read

You can read a news article here, which has this headline:

Andrew Morton traces the Nazi links of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor

This quote is from the news article:

Lurking behind these shenanigans and the object of the book is their closeness to Nazi Germany. So close the Duchess, then Mrs Simpson, allegedly had an affair with Joachim von Ribbentrop, the reason for the title 17 Carnations – one for every night of their lovemaking; Morton admits they may have been roses. This was all grist to Hitler’s plan to overcome Britain and reinstate the Duke as puppet King, and Wallis as Queen. “She would have made a wonderful Queen,” he murmured.

Later, von Ribbentrop’s crafty plot for kidnapping the couple, offering as bait up to 50 million Swiss dollars ($200 million today) and a castle in Spain, came to naught. A seething Prime Minister Winston Churchill sent them packing to the Bahamas.

  2. Forgotten opera empressario/parlimentarian/historian/ Francis Neilson’s three books, THE CHURCHILL LEGEND, THE MAKERS OF WAR, and THE TRAGEDY OF EUROPE provide a very detailed (day to day) back story of the lead-up to WWII. Forgotten Quaker pacifist author Porter Sargant’s GETTING US INTO WAR is also good for gaining an understanding of the thinness of these tittilating new histories of that era written to put forward the victor’s version of this history. I was made aware of these authors by Thomas E. Mahl whose book DESPARATE DECEPTION:British Covert Operations in the United States 1939-44 remains a benchmark in my life because it ruined forevor my trust in media and government. The story of King Carol II of Romania and his Jewish paramour Ida Lupescu (who finally got herself crowned in exile) is another great story about a weak king falling under the sway of a rather unattractive adventuress. Contrary to the consensus thinking on this, what I really admire about the first iteration of Romanian Iron Guard was that they didn’t harm Jews. The simply shot down in the streets any Christian politicians, policemen and popular pundits whom they knew to be collaborating with them.

    • The Iron Guard had been strongly antisemite and took part in riots against Jews

      • I had to look up “The Iron Guard.”

This quote is from what I found:
        Begin quote
Antonescu was a fervent anti-Semite, viewing the Jews as the primary enemy of the Romanian nation. With regard to the Jews, Antonescu asserted that, “the Jewish people [have] embezzled and impoverished, speculated on and impeded the development of the Romanian people for several centuries; the need to free us from this plague is self-evident.”6 He even viewed Romania’s participation in Operation Barbarossa as a campaign against the Jews, stating in a letter to Mikai Antonescu that, “Everybody should understand that this is not a struggle with the Slavs but one with the Jews. It is a fight to the death.”7

Antonescu advocated a policy of racial purification of the Romanian nation, and Romania’s participation in Hitler’s war against the Soviet Union provided Antonescu with the opportunity to put these ideas into practice. That is not to say, however, that Antonescu’s worldview was entirely dominated by racial considerations; indeed Antonescu can be described as a conservative nationalist whose priority was to restore the territorial integrity of the Romanian nation after the humiliating territorial capitulations to the Soviet Union and Hungary.8
        End quote

It is really strange that so many world leaders and so many countries disliked the Jews. Even President Roosevelt would not let the Jews into America. America could have saved the six million.

        • Antisemitism has deep religious – heathen, christian and muslim ones – roots. Furthermore, a miniroty can be usefull as scapegoat in the events of economical and social troubles.

          • You can find a list of all the times that Jews were expelled or persecuted on this website:
            http://www.eretzyisroel.org/~jkatz/expulsions.html

Has any other race or religion EVER been subjected to being expelled, or Holocausted?

Why were the Jews expelled and persecuted so many times?

            • In history there had been many racial and religious groups disapeared – expelled or “Holocausted” – who had not been able to leave written records; the Jews could leave those records. Your second question – Why – can be answered only by G’D. Clear?

              • There is no record of the names of the prisoners who were gassed. There is also no record of the prisoners who were brought to Auschwitz and then transferred to another camp. Prisoners who were brought to Auschwitz and then never seen again were allegedly gassed, or maybe they were transferred to another camp. It is impossible to know which, unless they survived and wrote a book about how they escaped the gas chamber.

                • Those who stood in Auschwitz for forced labor have the NUMBER tatooed on their arm. Clearly those who had been gassed and then burnt cannot show any Number. So the deportation records of their home towns or villages – when not destructed – ought to be considered.

                  Comment by Wolf Murmelstein — June 29, 2015 @ 9:49 am

                • Prisoners who were brought to Auschwitz-Birkenau and then immediately transferred out of the camp were not tattooed.

Auschwitz was the only place where Jews were tattooed, and then only if they were selected to be imprisoned in the Auschwitz camp. Auschwitz was also a transit camp and those who were transferred out of the camp, after a period of quarantine, were not tattooed.

The lack of a tattoo indicates that a prisoner was selected to be transferred out of the Auschwitz camp, or that the prisoner was selected for the gas chamber.

I have written many times about Auschwitz being the largest railroad hub in Europe. The largest railroad hub in America is at North Platte, Nebraska.

This quote from Wikipedia explains how troops went through North Platte during World War II. This is the same way that prisoners went through Auschwitz to be sent to the sub-camps where they worked.

                  Begin quote:
North Platte is a railroad town; Union Pacific Railroad’s large Bailey Yard is located within the city. Today, North Platte is served only by freight trains, but during World War II the city was famous for the North Platte Canteen. Tens of thousands of volunteers from North Platte and surrounding towns met the troop trains passing through North Platte, offering coffee, sandwiches and hospitality.

                  End quote

America had only one or two large camps where German-American prisoners were held. Germany had a whole network of camps where Jewish prisoners were held.

  3. Actually his successor was his brother George VI who was also himself pro appeasement. This has been air brushed out by the court historians. On his return from The Munich conference of 1938 Neville Chamberlain was given the honour of a balcony appearance by the King. Interestingly both the King and Queen in 1940 favoured a negotiated peace.

  4. The machinations of the warmongers could, and did, depose the king. If it/they had not (been able to), the Second World War would not have happened – at least not in anything like the way it did.
