I wrote about Bill O’Reilly on a previous blog post, which you can read here. If you don’t know who Bill O’Reilly is, I can’t help you.
On some nights, Bill O’Reilly has 3 million viewers. On a bad night, he has over 2 million viewers. If you have never seen his news commentary TV show, you are out of the loop, and there is no hope for you.
Last night O’Reilly educated his viewers, and one of his guests, about Mengele. One of his guests, Monika Crowley, knew who Dr. Mengele was, but the other guest, whose name I have forgotten, had never heard of him. [I had never heard of her, but I know all about Dr. Josef Mengele.]
Dr. Josef Mengele, the infamous “Doctor of Death” at Auschwitz, doesn’t get the title of Dr. because he sent Jews to their deaths in the gas chamber. If you refer to him as DOCTOR Mengele, as I am doing right now, you will be instantly exposed as a Holocaust denier.
On his show, O’Reilly explained to his uninformed guest, whose name I don’t remember, that Mengele “was a Nazi Doctor who performed experiments on children and babies.”
Then he went on to say that “Mengele did experiments in utero, not just on babies that were born.”
The part about doing experiments on babies in utero was news to me. I have studied the Holocaust extensively, but I have never heard that story.

The in utero experiments were performed on Angela Orosz Richt, who was born in Auschwitz in Dec 1944 and who remembers exactly how she was tortured by Mengele. She even remembers Oskar Groening, who left Auschwitz in October 1944.
“Later my mother became a human guinea pig for the Mengele team. In October, when she was 7 months pregnant, Professor Carl Clauberg’s team selected her for sterilization experiments. They injected a burning substance into her cervix. Right behind, in her uterus, was the fetus. Me. These injections were terrible, painful. Injection one, the fetus moved to the left side….next day another injection, the fetus moved in the other direction. And they played that game for a while.
Those experiments are the reason I do not have any brothers or sisters.
Somehow I survived. After they finished observing the effects of injecting caustic chemicals into my mother’s cervix, my mother went back to her barrack and luckily was forgotten about by the Angel of Death. Because she was fed so little, I was so tiny that the pregnancy didn’t show. If not for this we would have both been killed, before I had taken my first breath.”

O’Reilly is the reason I quit watching fox. I watched CNN and CNBC . I quit watching CNBC cause they employ our good friend Rev. Al Sharpton ( does anyone know which church he’s a reverend at). Al has a way with butchering the hell outta the English language. He can probably go talk to the Inbreeders in the Tennessee mountains and they’d probably understand him. There again,Als not exactly the “kinda person” the hill folk in Tennessee want around. As far a CNN,they’ve been carrying Barry’s water ever since ’08. Face facts. Barry got elected on the sympathy vote. The only 2 people on fox that I like anymore are judge Jeannie and Greta. The rest suck. I still wish Beck was on there. I pretty much try to get my news from BBC,but they seem to be going the way of everybody else. So don’t know who to listen to anymore

Until a couple of weeks or so ago, you could sense some moderation and caution in the German media — that is, even officialdom seemed to have doubts that it was reasonable for Germany to accept the HUGE numbers of ‘asylum/seekers’ and ‘refugees’ reportedly on the way — it is now said 800k are expected in 2015, which is roughly two cities the size of Leipzig. Now the tone has changed, and the media is in full shaming mode — calling people who protest Rechtsradikalen, publishing stories featuring ‘refugee’ children (even though as I said, the average third world arrivee is a 25 y/o male), and re Syrians the government has suspended the rule that you have to apply for asylum in the first country you enter — obviously all the Syrians who arrive in Germany have already passed thru a country where they could have claimed asylum — no Syrian will be sent back to try their luck in another country. Basically, this is an open invitation for all Syrians to come to Germany.
And they will never leave.
Berlin is a city with a heavy immigrant population (meaning also descendants of past immigrants too). The German name for the law that provides a minimal existence is Hartz IV — this is like welfare for life, mandated by the German Grundgesetz (constitution) — your flat is paid for, if you need furniture or a washing machine they pay for that, and you get pocket money for food. 1/3 of the children in Berlin live in families receiving Hartz IV — of course the percentage among those with Migrationshintergrund is even higher.
This is the future of Germany, if nothing is done to stop it.

It is all about scale. Having successfully used London as a breeding paddock for European trouble making scum in the 19th/20th century the money clowns are expanding the experiment in Europe for 21st/22nd century global trouble making scum. London is gone me old china plate, the celts, middle saxons, east saxons, south saxons and kentish men are all dead. Norrey and Surrey gone. London is dead spectacle. Europe will list the same fate for Danes, Dutch, French, Poles, Germans, Swedes et al by 2300.

Would like to test the knoledge of Mr. Oreilly about Holocaust; result would be very amusant. Mengele had been one of many Nazi physicians who took the opportunity offered by the Concentration Camps to perfrom experiments of helpless prisioniers. Mengele became famous because of he and his entourage (perhaps 24 SS doctors) made also selection at Auschwitz ramp of those to send to the Gas Chambers and those to send to forced labor. The lack of any respect for human life had been part of Nazi doctrine. The yesterday TV show of Mr Oreilly is a clear example of how careless journalism harns remembrance of victims.

What do You mean saying that Harward is now kosher? There are schools runn by a person who happens to be a Jew and there are schools which teaches Jewish culture and religion; a clear difference.The most “kosher” USA Holocaust historian had been late Lucy Davidowicz of Jeshiva University with THE WAR AGAINST THE JEWS where she avoided to waste time with details. I believe in Jewish Faith but have to check the facts of the Jewish fate, like the Holocaust and other former persefcutions. As I have stated in my comment Mr. O’Reilly in TV show told things wich are inconsistent with well known facts about Nazi medicine. .I trust this is clear.

I thought Saul Friedlander’s book The Years of Extermination was better. I thought Deborah Lipstadt’s book the Eichman Trial was excellent, especially when she talked about the tensions between the European and Isreali Jews.

Thank you for contributing. The only thing I want to correct is that there were no actual Death Camps in Germany. The Death Camps were located in Poland (Auschwitz-Birkenou, Chelmno, Sobibor, Treblinka, Belzec and Majdanek).
The Nazis had Concentration Camps located all over Europe, they were not nice places and lots of people died in them but they were not technically death camps.

Don’t be alarmed by the comments you see, they are from Holocaust Deniers. Holocaust Deniers believe that Hitler in fact loved the Jews and sent them to the camps for holidays. They also believe that German soldiers spent most of World War II handing out candy to orphan children and don’t understand why enemy soldiers wound up in Germany in 1945.
You are right, Mengele was a criminal that escaped justice.

I don’t know what you think you smelled, but it wasn’t ‘death’ except the murder from the Eisenhower camps or the treachery perpetuated on the German people from the Soviet invasion or massive phosphorous bombings from the English and Americans. Ok, I’ll go.
The Soviets were there because in June 1941 the Germans invaded the Soviet Union. During the course of that invasion it’s estimated that 27 million Soviets died. This includes the over 3 million Soviet POWs who died of various causes, including the over 2 million that died of starvation, disease and maltreatment from June of 1941 until Spring of 1942. The Germans figured out that dead men can’t work so that’s when they started feeding them.
The British bombed Germany because in 1939 Hitler didn’t take the British seriously when the British signed a treaty with the Polish. The treaty stated that in case Germany invaded Poland this would result in Britain (and France) declaring war on Germany. The Germans invaded anyway, causing the declaration of war.
The U.S. was there because in December of 1941 Hitler declared war on the U.S.
Now, the actions of the Soviets were disgraceful. The U.S., British and French also committed atrocities. However there is a cause and effect going on here.

Well clent it would track that only survivors could say something about Mengele. Obviously the dead couldn’t say something about Mengele. A corpse couldn’t say that Mengele infected him with something and they croaked.
I don’t think all survivors say that. Toivi Blatt for example never stated he met Mengele. This would make sense because Mr. Blast was imprisoned and later escaped from Sobibor.

When I was station in Germany. I had a book about Dr. Josef Mengele. He should be a terror remembered. I saw the death camps. Still smell the odor of death 30 years after.

I have it stored in my mother house somewhere. I love history and I was stationed in Germny. I was a steady reading and did a lot of traveling. Wasn’t a nice book. He was a scary man. He did everything for his purpose. I hope to find one day tis book. History is needed to be remembered. Can’t allow the bad deeds to be repeated.

I went to the Germany death camps and Poland. I posted the photos on photo bucket. I’m glad I did. My photo are from 1976-1977. The camps were in okay shape at this time. I saw the camps today. Being hidden from the public eyes and falling apart. I will search for the book and give you proper title. When I returned from Germany in 1980. .I stored all my books at my mother house. The book I had was more science than lies. He kept records.

In 1976 and 1977, most of the former camps were deserted and there was nothing there to see — no museum nor any memorials. I went to Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1998, and I was the only person there, besides my tour guide. The place had grown up in weeds, and I was told that there were snakes and bees there, so I should not get off the road around the camp.
In 1976, Dachau was filled with homeless German people who had been kicked out of their home countries. There were no museums nor memorials at Dachau, but the American Army was taking the soldiers stationed nearby on bus trips to see the camp. The soldiers were told that the disinfection chambers, the doors of which had not yet been painted over, were homicidal gas chambers, and that the shower room was also a gas chamber.

I have photos of Dachau. Still had the buildings and the ovens. Was a sad place. You could feel the bad deeds done . On my photo bucket. I have the photos posted..

I looked at some of the photos. On the first page that I viewed, I saw a color photo of the bridge over the moat. I took that photo to show the bridge which was not there when the Dachau camp was liberated. You have intimated that this photo was taken when the camp was liberated.
On another page of photos, I saw a photo of two men dragging a dead body with tongs. This photo was taken after the camp was liberated. It was a staged photo of a dummy being dragged; this photo was taken to illustrate how the bodies were dragged to the ovens, but this photo does not show a real human body. I could go on and on about the photos on your pages. I have many of these same photos on my web pages about Dachau.
P.S. One of the photos on your website shows the open door into a “gas chamber.” The photo actually shows a disinfection chamber where clothing was deloused in order to prevent the spread of typhus. Technically, this is a gas chamber but you have implied that it is a homicidal gas chamber, which it is not.

I have met survivors in the USA and Europe. My mother worked in Jewish retirement home. They spoke little of WW2. WW2 was just the beginning . Stalin murder of millions. USA had Korean and the Vietnam wars. New wars added on to them now. The camps were real and the sad part. We learn nothing. The killing and war keeps acoming. I was in Iraq, Bosnian and Africa. Can’t make excuses for the death camps. The photos I took were real to me. We need to remember the old wars. Not pretend they did not happen. Germany hatren for Jews.Was just repetition. A giant list of people slaughtered and murdered for land. War had a short memory. I’m 1/2 Ojibwa. My Grandmother taught me. We can forgive. Not forget.

You have misunderstood my comment. Your photos show the bad part of Dachau and include some photos that were not taken at Dachau. I was one of the first people to do a website about Dachau. As far as I know, soccer was only played at Theresienstadt and at Auschwitz.

In his work ‘Legends of Our Time’, Wiesel tells a story about a visit to a Rebbe, a Hasidic rabbi, he hadn’t seen for 20 years. The Rebbe is upset to learn that Wiesel fabricates stories:

I always quote Otto Von Bismarck.”Anyone who has ever looked into the glazed eyes of a soldier dying on the field of battle,will think long and hard before they start a war”. I can do without war. From what I saw and went through,no human should ever have to go through that. Like the saying goes,”the old men get us into wars and the young men have to fight them.” As long as man is around,war is always gonna be there. How many people were in ‘Nam before us. You are right. My Grandfather fought in WW2 and my father fought in the Korean war and the Vietnam war. I joined at eighteen and stay in for almost 15 years. I fear my Grandchildren will follow my path, like my father. War is part of the world. We cannot escape it.
