The following quote is from the news article, cited above:
Auschwitz was liberated by Soviet forces on Jan. 27, 1945. Having survived disease and slave labor in the camp, [Edith] Eger immigrated to the United States in 1949.
She became a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder. She now lives in La Jolla [California].
Eger also is a great-grandmother to three boys whom she calls her greatest pride and joy.
“I was always told [in Auschwitz] that the only way I was going to get out was as a corpse,” Eger said. “I knew that on any day I could be beaten or sent to the gas chamber. But I knew no matter what, they could never murder my spirit.”
Another date, known as Yom Hashoah at the beginning of May, also is dedicated within the Jewish community to remembering the Holocaust, Keller said.

I marvel at how Holocaust Survivors are able to carry on, visiting colleges to educate young people about the greatest crime in the world — the Holocaust. I often wonder why these people are so healthy and hearty in their old age.

No question there is a very strong undercurrent of this now in Germany — it is occasionally hinted at or said publicly, but I think most people do not take that, err, argument too seriously — in fact many more forthright younger Germans resent it, so it is tiptoed around — instead, basically any/all opposition to the current madness is pushed into the neo-Nazi corner — such people are not fit company — recently, the disgusting, stupid, porcine head of the SPD, Sigmar Gabriel, said he would not appear in any public forum with a representative of the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland) — Gabriel lehnt TV-Auftritte mit AfD-Politikern ab — to me, Frauke Petry of the AfD is the most sensible politician in Germany today — the country must come to its senses soon.

I myself, as many other survivors, had been advised by doctors to avoid delivering speeches or take part in pubblic debates. As a “special child survivor” I some times am interviewed by researchers; not easy or everytime pleasant. Doctors allow me only writing about events and perform historical research and write essays.

This Holocaust (THEIR Holocaust) will SURELY outlive me. And I was born in 1944, FAR outside any German concentration camp, but I WAS born in an army hospital where German POWs from a nearby POW camp were orderlies. Their cushy circumstances came to be a bit of a scandal at a certain point during the war. Don’t know if that was factual or not (I was a baby).

I think that you are correct. We should be studying WHY so many survivors have lived to an advanced age. One of my theories that I have is that the prisoners ate a lot of turnips in the camps. I believe that turnips help one to live to an advanced age. I eat a lot of raw turnips and I have already lived longer than most of my friends and relatives.

While I know nothing about this woman in particular, perhaps those most grateful to have survived heinous abuse are sometimes more likely to take care of themselves, eating healthfully, exercising, and taking precautions and catching medical problems early in order to prolong the time that they can enjoy their now-safe life?

Our “Edie” is quite a gal – not only did she dance for Doctor Mengele in order to receive scraps of bread as a reward; she disorientated a guard by doing a cartwheel and the splits, and thus saved herself from being sent to the “gas chamber”. Edie also went on death marches, where she had to carrying ammunition for the German army, and on one occasion, she and her mother (or sister) along with all the other concentration camp prisoners had to sit on the roof of a train carrying ammunition in order to prevent the Allied aircraft from attacking it. This did no good, however, as the train was still bombed, killing many people – but not of course the intrepid duo who both lived on to provide testament to the world.
At the end of the war, Edie claims (with no proof) that she was incarcerated in the Gunskirchen labour camp, near Linz in Austria. On the penultimate day before its liberation, an SS guard thought she was dead, and so he “tossed” her into a mass grave at the back of the camp, where an American soldier luckily found her next day still alive. (In other words – her survival was yet another one of these miracles that we’ve heard so much about.)
Oh, by the way, Edie broke her back while in Auschwitz, and so she was sent to the camp hospital where the doctors and medics fixed the injury. But we’ve always been told that inmates who were not fit for productive work were immediately sent to the “gas chambers”. It would seem, however, that the cruel wicked Nazis nursed her back to full health again – which is very strange, but it must be so, because you can’t go on “death marches” with a broken back, not climb up on to the roof of trains.

Yes, it could have something to do with genetics, but I suspect her role as a “trooper” has really got more to do with monetary gain. You know – “that old clinking-clanking sound”. Eva does very well financially as a “holocaust survivor”. She pockets a life-long pension as compensation for her brief incarceration in the WW2 labour camps. Later, in the USA, she had a lucrative business as a Clinical Psychologist, where she could fill her patients minds with all this holohoax mumbo-jumbo. The holocaust industry obviously sponsors her as one of the leading “survivors”, and thus she collects a generous fee for lecturing to colleges and schools. We must not forget her TV appearances and articles written for journals and magazines. Edie has even appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and I’m sure didn’t come cheap for that prestigious TV extravaganza!

Yes, it was greed that led to the loss of Mr Wiesel’s fortune. Bernie Madoff was giving a much higher return for his investors than what the more responsible investment banks were offering. Wiesel couldn’t resist these high percentages, and he obviously trusted Madoff’s financial expertise as well as his verbal assurances. Wiesel should have spread his assets around more, so that the bulk of his money was in much safer hands, and where the returns are smaller – rather than giving it all to the fraudulent crook, Madoff. But there again, maybe Wiesel himself is a fraud, and so he recognised in Bernie Madoff a kindred spirit…

FURTHERGLORY. My Father’s book does not meet the Shoah Business criteria and so no USA or UK pubblisher contacted seriously the Italian Pubblisher LA SCUOLA – Brescia, Italy who holds the worldwide copy rights. The German version had been pubblished thanks to an Austrian Governmental help. The fees hardly repay expenses and stess; not a way to become a milionaire.
As to Madoff, he followed the well known Ponzi scheme, certainly not the standards set by Rotshild, Warburg and other Jewish bankers who granted banking services to Kings, Popes, governments and big companies.
My ideas about certain “investors” at the Madoff firm are very harsh and cannot be pubblished. In USA there should be strong rules about the investment of Charities and similar institutions; I think their funds should be invested only in USA Federal Bonds as the donations they collect enjoy tax allowances or so.
We Jews are a normal people and have outstanding figures in science, business, etc. and, unfortunately, also wrongdoers.

Wolf …..all groups of people have bad people within them we all know that. The problem with the Jews is they see that some of their people are bad and they don’t expose them for the bad things they are doing. You Jews put yourself all in the same pot because you don’t expose the bad Jews doing bad things. When you start doing that standing up for the truth and showing that some Jews are lying and behaving badly then we will have more respect for you and support you.

@Wolf Murmelstein – Are you saying that your father’s book can’t be published outside Germany and Austria because this Italian publisher LA SCUOLA holds the worldwide copyright? Are there copies still in circulation in the German language and can it be purchased anywhere, or does it fall foul of the strict “holocaust denial / defamation of the dead” laws in those two countries?
But wherever the problem lies, it is imperative – both from the world’s need for historical accuracy, and to honour your own father’s memory – that this material is brought into the public domain. As things stand, the book will remain for ever unread by anyone.
I can understand your own reluctance to publish, because it might contain information that goes against the grain of the established holocaust narrative, and at your age, and in your state of health, you don’t want the stress and strain of the inevitable controversy that will arise, but is it possible that you could somehow arrange for friends to publish the manuscript without your direct involvement.

TALBOT. The fact is that no USA or UK Pubblisher had shown interest contacting LA SCUOLA – Brescia, Italy. I would be happy for the pubblishing of an English version, but no Pubblisher no pubblishing. Neither the Shoah Business Tear Pressing division nor the Negationist division are interested to have a real – not emotional – evidence given by the LAST OF THE UNJUST. Not my guilt. Wolf, you’re probably right that it will be difficult to interest a conventional publisher in the book. But today there are practical alternatives worth considering if you are willing to invest time in putting the book together and somehow marketing it:
Self-publishing
I would think you could fairly easily get help marketing it.

jrizoli. Madoff actually has strongly dammaged many Jewish families. What I trie to point out is the lack of USA laws providing proper strong controlls over banking business made this, and other frauds, possible. The FBI helped kicking out Governor Eliot Spitzer – a Jew – of office; helpfull for figures like Madoff to go on in their wrongdoings. You certainly know that the collapse of Lehman Bank had been due to the quite questionale business practices of the pure WASP owners. A Mortgage company run by a business man of latino origin too collapsed because of the very bad practices.
The fact that Jewish Charity organization or figure like Wiesel “lost” money with Madoff should be matter of another investigation. At any rate Charities should be bond to invest only in USA Federal Bonds. Clear?

FURTHERGLORY, EAH, TALBOT. Dear Friends. The simple fact shown on this blog that we have a lot of books about the liberation of Dachau – but I wonder how many about its history – while no Pubblisher for an English Version of the historical evidence given by the LAST OF UNJUST is itself meaningfull.
My Father wrote his book in 1960 and found an Italian pubblisher who printed 2000 copies; selling suddenly 1500 while the remaining stood in warehouse. In 2013 LA SCUOLA – having acquired that pubblishing house – contacted me for a new attempt to pubblish the book, as usual asking world wide copy rights. So a small quantity of copies in Italian had been printed and sold. Friends in Vienna got an Austrian pubblisher to contact LA SCUOLA for the German version and obtained even a Government help. But … I noted that certain press bond to a certain establishment did not even care to review it.
Furthermore, some malicious reviews in certain USA and UK press about the LANZMAN film show why no pubblisher will risk the costs of an English version. I guess that not even the costs of an e-book edition would be repaid. The full evidence – 18 hours interview – my Father granted Lanzman in 1976 is available for researchers at USHM archives.
Now, rather than bitterness I express irony about the power of Shoah Business; just what my Father as other survivors feared.
Thanks for Your interest but it is better to follow business as usual of meaningless debates and so.

Wolf, I think that you do not realize how much the world has changed in recent years. It is much easier to get something to “go viral” which means that news spreads rapidly. I now have over 2000 people a day reading my blog. Some of these people put information from my blog on Pinterest, Facebook and other social media. You may not realize that the name Mulmerstein is “Welt bekannt.”

FURTHERGLORY. I am aware that the name MURMELSTEIN is already worldwide known. Some time I am asked by students for information and oftern I have to rebuke critical remarks of persons who do not know anything about real conditions of those times of darkness. And as we have often discussed in USA European history and geography is not really studied. The lady shown in this post meets perfectly the USA market demands – students waste an hour or so of lesson and teachers have a little rest – which does not require exact historical evidences but only stories like those of aged survivors well advised by their “managers” how to “adress” audiences. In such conditions not even self pubblishing efforts would be repaid.
I thank You for having pubblished on the web site my essays where I summarized the essential facts as learnt from my Father and resulted from my historical ananlysis. I realize that this is the maximum possible.
Let us go on with our usual debates which are very good exercises to improve my poor writen English. I am already near to 80 years and when hearing the CALL OF G’D I will be freed of all problems;then certain historian will not be rebuked any more.

I think that you are correct that European history is not studied in America, except by students majoring in history. However, the Holocaust is studied, and American students have a hard time understanding it. The world has changed so much in 70 years that young students today have a hard time understanding the past. I am in the same age group as you, so I have a better understanding of history than today’s young people.

All history is Jew history or how they perceive it. It all fits their story of how they present things happening. So how do you expect the kids to learn the truth if they are fed the OFJV The Official Jewish Version of things. So we have millions of young ones who have NO clue on what ‘s going on with many issues especially the HoloHoax issue.
Of course having the HoloHuxster survivors going to the schools and telling their lies hasn’t made things easy as they fill these kids heads with the Disneyland Horror version
of the story of the HoloHoax. One thing I have to admit the Jews have a great propaganda plan that they use that makes sure every school is covered by some knucklehead HoloHuxster survivor to tell their gruesome tale of some evil thing that happened to them which they just read in a fiction book somewhere and presented it as their story.
Sad that we haven’t been able to cross examine these liars/dreamers or whatever you want to call them, as they are old and wasting away, but we try by exposing the whole HoloHoax story hoping that we find honest people out there that can distinguish between fiction and non fiction.
No mater what we present we’re going to have those that will believe the lie over the truth because the lie is more exciting.
Why death and destruction is so exciting to the Jews is beyond me…..

Once again I state that History of Holocaust cannot be studied without any knowledge of general history, geography, demography and economical conditions of Europe in general and specialy of Central and East Europe where the large Jewish comunities had been exterminated. Reading some comments here I mean that the tear pressing way the Holocaust is studied in USA schools is only suitable for the negationists.

You should understand that we have no good reason(s) to regard your father’s words as more reliable and probative than the words told by all those professional ‘survivors’ earning a living with testimonial tours in US and European schools. Of course, we don’t have the emotional bonds you have with your father. To us, your father was just a Jewish storyteller like any other one. His stories are similar to the stories told by all those professional Holo-storytellers you seemingly dislike.

Jim, the math is quite easy. If you have 9 million Jews living under either German or German allied control and you kill 6 million, that still leaves 3 million.

There were approximately four million Jews living in the German control and approximately 4 million lived to collect reparations at the end of the war like I said in my question then who died.

A few years after WW1, the Turks and the Greeks displaced millions of ethnic Greeks and Turks in both directions within a few months. Had any side had any kind of interest in concealing those population transfers for political reasons, claiming that those millions of people had just disappeared from the face of the earth would have been a breeze. No need to explain the reasons why the Allies, the Soviets and the Israelis had no interest in informing the world about the magnitude of Jewry’s postwar geographical movements. Any official information about such movements would have crushed their own wartime propaganda about Germany and Israel’s raison d’être. I fail to see why they would have made such a big blunder. But one would be wrong to believe that only reported things do exist. There exist fictional things massively ‘reported’ for political or economic purposes (e.g. the Holohoax) and real things never reported because useless or even inconvenient for the ruling elite and its interests (e.g. the bloody mass murders of the Jewish NKVD, the submission of political leaders to Finance, etc.).

Rather work than be dead…..but my big fears would of been the Jewish Kapos behaving badly.
The Kapos ran the camps you know, so if there were anyone to blame for bad things happening it was them.
Very bad men, yet all the blame was put on the Germans.

In the Nazi extermination camp, the hierarchy within each camp was strictly established. The competence of each function clearly and exactly defined by its very name: head of the barrack, head of the camp, head of the Revier, head of the Bunker, head of the gallows, head of the gas chamber, head of the crematorium…
There was only one vague function: Kapo.
The Häftling who was wearing on the left arm a black band on which it was written –KAPO– in Gothic letters of immaculate whiteness, was a chief. It was not precisely known over whom, but it was known that he could strike, beat, kill any Häftling who did not belong to the inner hierarchy of the camp, Kapo could be chief over a labor detachment, chief over a maintenance team in the camp; he could accompany the marching columns or to maintain order in the Appellplatz. But apart from all these, he could strike, beat and kill any of the Häftlings who did not hold any function.
Kapos were recruited from among sadists, from among the unscrupulous ones, who forgot they belonged to the human species, from among those who, faced with the alternative die or kill, preferred to kill. In order to prove their servility and to maintain their position as chiefs, they tried to surpass the SS-men in ferocity.
The Kapos kit, beat, killed out of sadism or envy, out of the desire to assert themselves as chiefs or out fear of losing their function, out of hate of man or out of the mere pleasure to trample underfoot and torment the fellow men.
I have seen at Birkenau-Auschwitz, Kaufering No. 4, Kaufering No. 9 and Landsberg, Kapos of all nationalities, from all social strata and the abyss of human degradation made me feel much more pain than their blows.
At Mauthausen, the camp which my father was killed, the first Kapo was the detainee enrolled at number 31: August Adam.
Vicenzo and Luigi Pappalettera wrote in their book The Brutes Have the Floor that, every time a new transport of detainees arrived at Mauthausen, Kapo August Adam picked out the professors, lawyers, priests and magistrates and cynically asked them: “Are you a lawyer? A professor? Good! Do you see this green triangle? This means I am a killer. I have five convictions on my record: one for manslaughter and four for robbery. Well, here I am in command. The world has turned upside down, did you get that? Do you need a Dolmetscher, an interpreter? Here it is!” And he was pointing to his bat, after which he striked. When he was satisfied, he formed a Scheisskompanie with those selected and sent them to clean the latrines.
In each concentration camp there was a handful of Häftlings who wore a black arm band on which it was written in Gothic letters of immaculate white: KAPO. They were those who, entering the gates of the camp, forgot that they were human beings and wanted to survive abusing the fellow men, torturing then… killing them…

jrizzoli. When starting Auschwitz Camp the Nazis brought a group of prisonier classifide as CRIMINAL to act as Kapos. Later there had been also Jewish Kapos. It had been better to be beaten by the Kapo than by the SS guard. So I had been told by some survivors.

The Jews do have certain genetic illnesses but so do a lot of ethnic groups. The French Cajuns have a disease similar to Tay-Sachs, blacks have sickle cell anemia, I could go on.
An individual can have good genes that enable them to live longer. This is what I meant.

I know you have a hard time with the race thing, Schlageter.
Tay-Sachs mostly affects Ashkenazi Jews, Jews from central and Eastern Europe. Why? Because they lived in closed communities.
However, Tay-Sachs also affects the Amish, French Canadians and Louisiana Cajuns for the same reason. So, do these people also belong to the Jewish “race?”

Regarding race, ‘opinion’ has nothing to do with it. The question re Jews is whether there exists genome correlates such that when some random control genome is analyzed for these correlates, it can be determined, with a high degree of accuracy, if that person is exclusively Jewish/has Jewish ancestry. And the answer is yes — such genome correlates exist.

Halli, I don’t think the Nazis thought dark hair was the result of bad genes. After all, Hitler and Himmler both had dark hair. I think you have to look at it in terms of an ideal. To the Nazis, the ideal was blonde hair and blue eyes but many Germans are dark-haired and have dark dark eyes.

To be an Aryan under the Hitler regime all you had to prove that up to your Grand Parents had been baptised in a Christian faith, there were nothing else you had to provide. I am of mixed blood including Basques, Dutch and Swedes plus few others and had no problems during selection. Although to be enlisted into the Führerkorps facial features did play a role including blond hair and blue eyes were preferred (that are those with a’V’ patch on their right sleeve, it is prominently shown in pictures of Himmler).
It is rather naive to assume in particular in the USA that there were any strict preconditions to be an Aryan, some of the comments are rather childish if not outright stupid. It is pseudo-science. For those that are still behind the times, Jews do not have a Taufschein (Certificate of Baptism.)

I did read your blog as indicated which brought up the subject of the so-called “Master Race” by one of your readers, who wrote: ‘The “Master Race” stuff seems to have been the invention of Anglo-American and Jewish propagandists seeking to outrage the stupid and drive them into a murderous frenzy”. How very true!
It is beyond me that the expression ‘Herrenvolk’ [two nouns] could be translated as ‘Master Race’ which has the inference and meaning of ‘People that are Leaders’, and it surprises me that W. Murmelstein with a Ph.D. and fluent German-speaker blows into the same trumpet, but then again he is a Jew and would and not deviate from the original script.

It is sometimes difficult to translate German words into English — without losing the meaning of the word. That is why many German words are not translated, but the original word is used. For example, the word Schadenfreude https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schadenfreude
