British students were hesitant to enter one of the gas chambers at Auschwitz…

My photo of the gas chamber in Auschwitz main camp shows a door into the chamber

The victims did not enter the gas chamber through the door shown in the photo above.  This door was for the SS men to enter the room, which was used for a bomb shelter by the SS men stationed at Auschwitz.

I put this photo on my blog because it is a favorite of some of the readers of my website.

The title of my blog post today comes from a line in a news article which you can read in full here.

This quote from the news article, cited above, is about the gas chamber in the main Auschwitz camp. The following quote is the words of one of the students, who went on a trip to Auschwitz recently:

Begin quote

I could tell some students were incredibly hesitant to enter one of the gas chambers, a place where thousands of innocent people were killed.

Chillingly, it took the Germans two days to kill the first innocent group due to a lack of knowledge in knowing how much Zyklon B to add to the chamber.

From killing hundreds in days, the Germans tweaked the quantity of Zyklon B pellets used and could now kill thousands in minutes.

We entered, and you felt an incredible sense of what those entering the chamber would’ve felt – though obviously nowhere near as terrifying or shocking.

A concrete bunker it was, just a room with plain concrete walls, a plain concrete ceiling and very claustrophobic.

End quote

My photo above shows the opening into the gas chamber from the oven room where the bodies were burned after the gassing.  According to the Holocaust legend, 2000 Jews were gassed at one time, but this would have taken months to burn the bodies in the few cremation ovens that were in this building.

After the students had seen the gas chamber in the main camp, they toured the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp.

The following quote is from the news article:

Begin quote

[Auschwitz] Home to millions of people during World War II, we all know the outcome of the holocaust – the pain it caused, the separation of families, the killing of men, women and children of all ages.

But it’s not until you stand in the footprints of those innocent people who were killed because of their race, belief, or way of life, that you grasp maybe just one per cent of the feeling that prisoners felt when stepping off the train.

The irony of stepping off that train, onto the platform, and inhaling your first drop of fresh air in days.

End quote

Jews getting off a train at Birkenau

Jews getting off a train at Birkenau. Where is the platform?

This quote is also from the news article:

Begin quote

Standing on the platform, I look to my left and see an endless train line – running deep into the woods that helped the Germans disguise the true purpose of Auschwiz [Auschwitz].

I look to my right and see the iconic building that shadows the death camp – looking forwards and backwards just fields, fields as far as the eye can see.

It’s near impossible to describe the day, the place, the feeling of standing in a spot where millions of people were once murdered.

End quote

Railroad tracks into Auschwitz-Birkenau

End of railroad tracks into Auschwitz-Birkenau

Tracks were built inside the Birkenau camp in 1944 to bring the Jews to the gas chambers on either side of the tracks. The tracks ended at the gas chambers.

The news article continues with this quote:

Now a museum, Auschwitz I [the main camp] is something I will never, ever, forget.

Prior to arrival [at the main camp], prisoners were shown images of a ‘swimming pool’ with green grass, flowers and beautiful countryside in the background – a lie which clearly worked.

Little did they know this swimming pool’s only purpose was to extinguish any fires that broke out – and lying directly next to the ‘pool’ was endless amounts of fencing, barbed wire and lookout bases to stop any prisoners escaping.

End quote

Swimming pool in Auschwitz main camp

1996 photo of swimming pool in Auschwitz camp

When I visited Auschwitz, for the first time, back in 1998, I asked to see the swimming pool, but I was told that it was not on the tour.

My tour guide told me that there were two swimming pools at Auschwitz, one for the prisoners and one for the SS men, but she would not show me either pool.

When I returned in 2005, the swimming pool for the prisoners was still not included on the tour, but I found it myself as I wandered around on my own in the early morning.

The swimming pool is now called a water reservoir on a sign board that was erected some time after my visit to Auschwitz in October 2005. The words on the sign board are in Polish, English and Hebrew; the sign reads as follows: “Fire brigade reservoir built in the form of a swimming pool, probably in early 1944.”

Note the clever way that the Nazis disguised the Fire brigade reservoir by putting diving boards there. God forbid that today’s British students should know that Auschwitz prisoners were diving and swimming at a death camp.

  1. My great Grandad was an Untersturmfuhrer in charge of a gas chamber at Auschwitz, but as Grandma used to tell us – he wasn’t exactly the brightest teaspoon in the cutlery set, and was absolutely hopeless at tweaking the Zyklon B pellets to get the right amount for a successful gassing action.

And one day he got himself into such a confused state of mind that he started to use cans of Zyklon A instead. However, these pellets did not have the desired effect on the hapless Jews locked up inside the chamber, and when he opened the hermetically sealed door, every single one of them was still alive. They immediately pushed him aside, and spilled out into the ante-chamber, before dashing straight through the undressing room and up the steps into the open air. From there, the totally naked victims fled in all directions around the Birkenau camp.

Being October 7th – Himmler’s birthday – all the camp inmates, as well as the SS guards on duty, immediately thought that the Commandant had authorised a spectacular – if rather unusual – birthday celebration for the beloved Reichsfuhrer, and he was putting on a colourful festival for everyone inside the camp to enjoy.

There were over 2,000 naked jews running everywhere all around the death camp. They were circling around the pits full of burning bodies, darting through the crematoria and sauna, while the camp orchestras ceased from performing light operettas, and starting playing with great gusto “The Ride of the Valkyries”, and “The 1812 Overture.” There is no doubt that It was a magnificent spectacle, because in all directions one could see unrestrained naked figures dashing about from here to there under the gorgeous Polish autumn sunshine.

When a Jew escaped the clutches of a pursuing SS guard, then a loud cheer went up spontaneously inside the inmates barracks, but when a guard caught a fleeing inmate in a net made from Jewish female hair, then the SS mess-hall erupted in triumph. One guy managed to artfully dodge an SS pursuer very close to the perimeter fence, and while the nimble Jew swerved with great agility to the side, the poor old guard crashed straight into the electrified barbed-wire. Of course, he promptly started frying alive – much to the jubilation of the Jews in their barracks. But when a ferocious guard dog managed to clamp its jaws around an escapee’s testicles, then a low groan of sympathy and understanding rose up from the inmates.

There was even a naked Rabbi who managed to escape out of the Gate of Death and ran off down the road towards the Auschwitz train station. He got there alright, and tried to purchase a ticket on the overnight express to Vienna. He explained to the booking clerk that when he reached his synagogue there, he would dig up his buried gold and return to the central station and pay for his train ticket. But the booking clerk was having none of it, and told him that German aristocratic families were travelling in the sleeper cars, and they certainly didn’t want a naked Rabbi creeping along the carriage corridors in the middle of the night. So, alas, the dejected Rabbi had to reluctantly return to Birkenau.

But after the fun was all over, the camp Commandant was furious, and instructed his SS personnel to never use Zyklon-A ever again. But he then added;- “You may use Zyklon-C for gypsies and homosexuals, as well as other undesirables, such as eskimos, insurance salesmen, real-estate developers, TV game show hosts, politicians and attorneys.

      • Yes, it is make believe – but not too far-fetched, considering some of the wild and “wacky” holocaust stories that we’ve heard over the years. Alas, in order to get their books sold in abundance, many holocaust authors have felt the need to embellish – and even fabricate – their narratives to meet their editors and publishers demands. And sometimes, their stories have gone completely over to the top, and have entered the realm of “The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.”

  2. “Chillingly, it took the Germans two days to kill the first innocent group due to a lack of knowledge in knowing how much Zyklon B to add to the chamber. From killing hundreds in days, the Germans tweaked the quantity of Zyklon B pellets used and could now kill thousands in minutes.”

So now, we the general public are being informed that over 1 million human beings were able to be exterminated effortlessly and efficiently by the simple expedient of “tweaking” the amount of Zyklon B poured into the chambers. If the SS personnel had not been inventive and skilful enough to be able to tweak effectively, then the numbers killed would barely have reached 10,000, and thus there would be no holocaust industry today, and in consequence we would be spared the horror, the heartbreak, the sorrow, the suffering, the guilt – plus, of course, all the denial and hatred accusations.

It is not just pathetic that young people’s minds are being pumped full of this sort of crap in the year 2016 – but absolutely diabolical as well. The Auschwitz Memorial Museum, the students own teachers, and the British educational establishment who allows and sponsors these trips, should be exposed for the frauds and liars that they really are.

    • FURTHERGLORY, TALBOT. I wonder what all that young people had learnt about the historical background of WWII and the Holocaust of Jews, Gyspies and other ethnic, religious and political groups. Or about the deep roots of Nazi murder doctrine in century logn religious and racist hatred. I am afraid those youngsters did learn nothing about.

      • I wrote about the Gypsies on this blog post:

When I was a small child, some Gypsies came to our small town and parked their van near our house. I was not allowed to go near them because my mother was afraid that they would kidnap me. It is terrible that the Gypsies, and the Jews, who never did anyone any harm, were put into camps.

      • Wuolf Murmelsteine. What you say about young people learning nothing about the historical background to the events of WW2 is absolutely correct. Unless they go on to college or university at the age of 16 upwards, and there take courses in modern history, they will never learn about the social, economic and political forces that combined to produce that terrible conflict. Alas, most people today live out their entire lives believing in the propaganda lies that their parents and grandparents were subjected to during those tumultuous years; and the holocaust industry has gradually dominated the public arena over the decades to literally monopolise the historical record.

How can youngsters come to any understanding of anything truthful or meaningful, when they are taken to some old cemetery where the teacher tells them a piece of dubious old rubbish about the removal of headstones; and then they go on to visit a fake gas chamber in Auschwitz, where they are solemnly told that the SS were “tweaking” around with a very ordinary fumigation agent and turning it into a poisonous chemical that could exterminate hundreds of thousands of people!

It is way past time that the holocaust industry was challenged. It has had an easy ride up until now – their version of what happened during those dark years has prevailed for far too long. You, yourself – as a “child survivor of Theresienstadt” – could take a more active stance in calling for a truly independent and international body of historians and experts to re-investigate the “holocaust”. But it would appear to me, that you are more content to hide behind the official “holocaust” mythology, and are not prepared to challenge the status quo at all.

        • What I would like to see done is a demonstration of the throwing Zyclon b tablets on the floor of Krema 1 and see what happens.
If what the exterminationist say is true we should get the the same effect that all the HoloHuxtsers have been saying replicated there with no problem. You would think this would of been done years ago but I truly believe the reason why it han’t been done is obvious.

          Comment by Jamie Rambo — April 4, 2016 @ 10:56 am

          • The HoloHuxsters have got a “get out of jail card” for such an experiment, I’m afraid. They would claim that Zyklon B dropped through the vents into an empty chamber would not replicate a real event and thus would not be conclusive, as the number of bodies all crammed together in an actual gassing session would rapidly heat up the pellets to the required temperature. They could also spin out an implausible yarn that the number of people inside would drastically cut the amount of available air in the chamber, and this would allow the gas to circulate more readily and lethally – blah, blah blah!

But the experiment would still be useful, because if monitoring equipment was placed inside the chamber, then we could see if, and how long it would take, for the gas to circulate to all four corners without fans being installed to blow the gas around the chamber. In addition, we would be able to monitor once and for all how long it would take for the poison gas to be evacuated down to safe levels without a ventilation system in operation.

        • TALBOT: So among friends. The SHOAB BUSINESS – subdivided in three divisions; Tear Pressing Stories, Negationism, Polish Turism – is not interested to teach historical events. The same applies to many so called democratic politicians, writers, philosophers, etc. Look at two my personal experiences: 1. At time of my studies I thought about a Dissertation on ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CAUSES OF WWII. as I had had already read many books about the subject, Unfortunately professor for Econonic History was Amintore Fanfani, before changing hat in 1943 author of many cleric-anisemite.fascist essays. So, my project was simply unthinkable. 2. The book of my Father found an Austrian publisher and austrian government help for the German version and in German and Austrian press the film THE LAST OF THE UNJUST had been very well reviewed. In USA and UK no publisher has shown interest for the book and the film of Lanzmann earned many ironical reviews in certain press. And in UK and USA the Shoah business makes high profits. No further comment necessary. Best.

Ich stimme dir hier zu Wolf — and they deserved compensation for that — also for the ‘pain and suffering’ (a common term in the US justice system) caused them — but the article I posted is about demands for money to help care for older “survivors”, just because they are “survivors” (and old) — ie the demands for money just never stop — und die Deutschen können nicht einfach “Nein — es reicht schon” sagen.

  3. Just in 1992 the Italian member of Auschwit Comitte explained the need to grant the respect due to this place of horror by strict silence and establishing an International Status to avoid any uggly business around it. Polish interests prevailed, unfortunately.

  4. Reading the full news article, it says the following;-

“We first visited a graveyard in the Polish town of Olse, just a few hundred yards from Auschwitz I. The entire graveyard is dedicated to residents from the town who lost their lives in the holocaust. Shockingly, I was informed by history teacher Phil Shail that each headstone doesn’t reflect the person buried underneath – as the Germans used the headstones to build in the town”.

This is rather confusing, because I think the writer is referring to Oswiecim itself, because there doesn’t seem to be a nearby Polish town called “Olse”. Google Earth indicates there is a memorial site – without any headstones – that lies a few hundred yards north of Auschwitz 1. This is a small triangular area of ground which appears to be a planted area of parkland with a circular pavement crowned by a modest-sized monument and low perimeter walls.

The icons on Google Earth claims this area is a mass grave that contains nearly 700 bodies of inmates from Auschwitz. And this might well be true, because when the Soviets arrived in January 1945, they found nearly 700 bodies lying unburied inside Auschwitz 1 and Birkenau. So this could well be the place where they laid them to rest.

But the confusion continues, because Oswiecim does have an Old Jewish Cemetery ( now unused ), which lies on the eastern side of the Sola River – which bisects the town. There are still many headstones there today, although the site is largely overgrown with trees. The presence of these headstones rather puts paid to dear old history teacher – Phil Shail’s – allegation that the Germans used them for building purposes! Ancient weathered headstones are hardly suitable material for building work. At best, they could only be broken up and used for hard-core rubble; thus they could not have been retrieved after the war and re-assembled in the cemetery as he seems to be alleging.

  5. Thank you, FG and Jim Rizoli for your comments. Ignorance of the nature of ZYKLON B and it’s purposes (used in Europe to deal with typhus and lice) and its impact is phenomenal and continues to promote the lie – from hundreds in days to thousands in minutes? Then there was a ‘back log’ for disposing the bodies! Puh-lease! How about a healthy skepticism of ANYTHING the PC media (ad nauseum) promotes!

  7. Pretty brainwashed kids they were afraid to enter an air-raid shelter that was there actually to protect people. Notice the walls have been taken down there is some sort of plumbing system on the floor there are no shower heads there are four openings in the roof that were put in after the war everything about the building shows that it was dealt with after the war yet these kids and many others have been fed the same old b******* that this was an extermination building. Anyone with a brain can see that this building was in the air raid shelter at least the last use of it and all the lies that have been told about its extermination use was just that… lies. But one thing it does show it shows that you can show people a picture of anything and tell them what it was used for and they will believe it without doing any investigation on their own to see if it is at all possible to use it like they say.

    • You are correct that “the walls have been taken down.”

In September 1944, the Auschwitz original morgue [now claimed to have been a gas chamber] had been divided into four small rooms. In the photo on my blog, you can see the reconstructed opening into the oven room on the left hand side. This opening was closed up when the gas chamber was converted into an air raid shelter. During the reconstruction of the alleged gas chamber, the opening into the oven room was moved a few feet.
