1978 “Holocaust” miniseries

Filed under: Germany, Holocaust, movies — furtherglory @ 3:02 pm

I am blogging again today about a news article you can read here.

Begin quote from news article

The term “Holocaust” was first used in 1978 by the NBC  television network.  They originally used it as the title of a miniseries that was a documentary and story about what happened during the Nazi’s tirade.

Yesterday I blogged about how this news article used photos of people who had been killed by American bombs, but claimed that the photos showed Holocaust victims.

  1. Talbot, you nailed it and FG, thanks for posting the reminder of the WHOLESALE atrocity/assault against the truth. Do you remember the outcry of rage when this played as we followed the demise of the family Weiss and how horrible were the Germans to our protagonists??? I could feel public opinion igniting against the Germans and I’ve ALWAYS been pro-German!!!!

I’ve seen this mini-series about a dozen times, read the book (a novel by the way) as many and did a comparison paper in college on both. This is an EGREGIOUS display of EVERY holohoax cliche there is, shouting about it at the top of Hollywood lungs with as many ‘big names’ as possible to convince us (like Swindler’s List) that this is a documentary rather than a hyped-up novel. What did they get right? That the jews were a problem in the Reich and had to be deported (funny, that wasn’t mentioned in the movie – the Transfer Agreement) but definitely they would have to be contained once the war started to be dealt with after the war (Final Solution). The main characters towards the end going to these fictitious gas chambers, and the audacity of it all – but then THAT is Hollyweird – jew run and dominated to affect their agenda. To punctuate the point – ran across this today (see link below):

(HAPPY GROUND HOG’S DAY – temps to be in the 80s this next week in East Texas!)

    • You wrote: “I’ve seen this mini-series about a dozen times, read the book (a novel by the way) as many and did a comparison paper in college on both.”

On this old blog post, I wrote about the number of Jews killed:

    • Do they realize that by admitting (once again) a single Jew was able to create millions of fictional non-Jewish ‘Holocaust victims’ out of thin air for political purposes, they open the door to the realization that they were of course also able to do the same thing with millions of fictional Jewish ‘Holocaust victims’ for other political purposes during WW2 and the following years ???

  2. T4 euthanasia implemented with engine exhaust ! Hmmm…it seems that the dumb story of scientists moving from bottled carbon monoxide (T4 euthanasia) to engine exhaust (Aktion Reinhardt) as a weapon of mass murder was too extravagant and nonsensical, too backwards, even for the filmmakers and technical advisors of the miniseries “Holocaust”…

  3. Thanks for that video clip FG – it was great fun. My favourite moment was when the nervous, diminutive professor gazed through the peephole in the gas chamber door ( which incidentally would have completely misted over with condensation on the inside ), and exclaimed breathlessly – “fantastic….absolutely fantastic”.

And that’s exactly what I was saying to myself. This is fantastic, absolutely fantastic – that anyone should have dreamt up such an absurdly grotesque scenario, and then have the sheer chutzpah to sell the story as historical truth to a media production company in order for them to broadcast it on TV into our homes.
