a room full of hair cut from Jewish victims

The title of this blog post is a quote from a news article which you can read in full at

http://www.islandpacket.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/david-lauderdale/article152558184.html#storylink=cpy

Begin quote from news article:

In one of the exhibits there, [at Auschwitz, the students] saw a room full of hair cut from the heads of Jewish victims some 75 years ago.

“They took their hair and made textiles out of it,” Ariel said. “That’s really, really hard. It’s part of you. That’s such a big identity thing to me. It’s a loss of your identity.”

They also saw a room full of shoes. Maybe 40,000 pairs of shoes, all gray and dusty now.

My photo of shoes on display at Auschwitz

“There were baby shoes and high heels,” said Alex, who just graduated from Hilton Head Preparatory School and is looking forward to the College of Charleston. “It’s symbolic that it didn’t matter who you were before.”

They remarked that 40,000 pairs of shoes represent only a small fraction of the 6 million people murdered in the concentration camps of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party until Allies put a stop to it with the bloodbath of World War II.

The girls were amazed at the inhumanity.

End quote

I don’t think that students from all over the world should be brought to Auschwitz to see the displays. They should be studying about what the Jews did to cause the Germans to send them to camps.

I have a section on my scrapbookpages.com website about the displays:

  1. If 800,000 pairs of shoes found at Majdanek could ‘prove’ the death of 1.5 million … er 78,000 … people there, how many deaths are the 40,000 pairs of shoes of the Auschwitz-Birkenau whimpering park supposed to prove for that camp ??? An identical ratio of shoes per death says 3,900 deaths, but ratios and rationality have no place in the Holocult…

  2. Was the hair cut before or after the “gassing”? If before I’m sure those nasty little lice would make a nice addition to someones newly stuffed hair mattress….LOL
Jeff….I guess seeing a pile of hair from a local barber shop must be tough for you to look at. I wonder where the barber buried everyone?

At Auschwitz, afterwards. Good grief, Jim, don’t you know anything?

    • Yeah, haircuts are so phooking traumatic that upscale barber shoppes offer to do their coupes de cheveux “operations” under total anesthesia. For just a trim, they offer light sedation with nitrous oxide.

Is that what deniers take before they read Holocaust Handbooks?

        • what deniers take

You don’t have to read much to conclude that piles of human hair prove nothing; you just have to think, and be honest about what kind of proof is needed to establish a crime — these piles of hair are displayed (behind glass) in the same building (in the Stammlager) where a pile of empty Zyklon-B cans is also shown (behind glass) — while some guides may not say so explicitly, and I do not recall if there is a sign or not, the clear intention is to make visitors think the hair was removed from gassed Jews — when of course it is known new arrivals had their heads shaved and their clothes confiscated in order to prevent the spread of disease — and Zyklon-B was heavily used to fumigate for the same reason, including the clothing — it is certain that visitors are never told that — this is just one of their dishonest practices.

An earlier post on this blog: Hair that was shaved from the heads of Jews at Auschwitz was made into human hairnets, according to Auschwitz tour guide

“You don’t have to read much to conclude that piles of human hair prove nothing;”

They do when you match them up with the other evidence. Why do deniers only focus on one detail to the exclusion of others?

You are right, hair was removed from everyone to prevent the spread of typhus and for industrial purposes. This included the corpses of those that died in the gas chambers.

Depends on the ‘witnesses’ and their inspiration of the moment. Such a variety of horror tales. So many variations. Just pick up the stories your propaganda needs require in a specific situation and for specific purposes, like Holocultists do.

  3. No, they need to see Auschwitz. It’s good for them. They need to see what happens when a demagogue comes to power.

Hitler, of course. Trump can’t get his repressive measures to stick (yet).

Hhhhhmmmm, should I answer this? I’m not sure if I’m in the mood to be called a faggot or told to fuck off.

            I’ll think about it.

          • Why do you have to think about it? — you said before being called a faggot didn’t bother you — and you just wrote above that Trump has tried to implement “repressive measures” — so what’s the problem?

Also: define “demagogue”, and name a politician who, in your view, is not a demagogue.

Hhhhhmmmmm, more from the abusive troll.

I don’t know, pros and cons about answering this kind of query. I mean, eah has a nasty, grumpy grump temper. No matter what I say it will inevitably lead to name calling and foul language. And Jim’s a Christian, I’d hate for him to see that kind of language.

              Well, I’ll think about it.
