The Brandenberg gate in Berlin

Filed under: Germany, World War II — furtherglory @ 8:44 am

I took this photo in 2002 when the Brandenburg gate in Berlin was covered over, while it was being repaired.

The other photos were provided by hermie, a reader of my blog.

You can read hermie’s comment about the recent visit to Berlin, made by the Duke and Dutchess of England, by following the link below:

As I understand it, Germany is now open to anyone. Refugees from every country come to Germany, especially non whites and Muslims. Hitler wanted Germany to be a country for German people. That is now considered to be wrong. Germany is now a country for everyone.

    • And Hitler was wrong for that. Don’t pay to be proud of your heritage anymore. Clearly if you’re proud of your roots, you’re gonna be racist.

  2. Who are the negros and hippies camped out there? Is this a site for the homeless? Both of those groups there,it looks like they’re trying to start shit. Uncle Adolph would’ve told them,”become a productive part of society,or you’ll be tossed like dogs”. That’s what I’m talking about. Thinking that up ,is called “thinking big”. It’s got a “in your face” look to it. I remember I was a kid the first time I saw that. I’m sure there’s lots to see in Germany, but that would be my main reason for going there. Hell I’ve even got the Brandenberg Gate in one of my games for my PS3. I can’t say the surrounding area in the game is accurate, but the Brandenberg Gate is.

    • They were rapefugees and activists who were blackmailing Germany for asylum (in order to get the money and the other benefits that go with the status) through a hunger strike. It was in 2013 or 2014.

      • Good. Let em go on a hunger strike. More food for everyone else. Germany is just letting anyone f–k them. Bet you a dollar to a donut, the Hebs are behind it.
