…the long and shameful history of anti-Semitism in Ireland.

The Irish people are noted for being very friendly and fun-loving. I’ve been to Ireland. It was the first place I went when I started traveling 30 years ago.  I was welcomed in Ireland as if I were a long lost cousin.

I was not aware, until now, that the Irish are anti-Semitic. Why would anyone not love Jews?  What’s not to like?

The title of my blog post today is a quote from a news article which you can read in full at http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/comment-antisemitism-was-rife-when-ireland-shut-the-door-to-jews-seeking-refuge-35999118.html

The following quote is from the news article:

Begin quote

The columnist Kevin Myers sparked outrage this week with his offhand remark that Jews were “not generally noted for their insistence on selling their talent for the lowest possible price”.

Myers was sacked for his reference to two highly-paid Jewish BBC broadcasters in The Sunday Times in an article about salaries at the British broadcaster.

After apologising profusely, he later claimed he was a “great admirer of Jews” and their culture of “exploring their talent and making the most of it”.

The former columnist insisted that he was not anti-Semitic, but the suggestion that Jews were motivated by money would have been familiar to anyone who has followed the long and shameful history of anti-Semitism in Ireland.

Public figures have expressed much more virulent anti-Jewish sentiments in the past; unlike Myers, in most cases they got away with it, because at times in our history such sentiments were popular.

The hateful stereotype of the grasping Jew was a theme in political discourse, going right back to Arthur Griffith and the birth of Sinn Féin.

At its worst, the stirring of hatred against Jews by some politicians and churchmen helped to create a climate where Jewish refugees from Europe were unable to escape to Ireland from the Holocaust. It could be a life-and-death issue.

End quote

What should you learn from this news article? The Jews have been hated since time began, and they will continue to be hated, the world over, until the end of time.

That’s all she wrote —  and she rubbed that out.

  1. My father was born in Dublin in 1926. I remember him telling me several times over the years that Hitler hated the jews so much that he sent bombers to Dublin to bomb them. I took this as fact until recently when I decided to investigate this and other Luftwaffe attacks on Ireland. Generally Hitler wanted to base his Wolf pack submarine fleet in Irish ports to attack our fleets in the Atlantic. Ireland said no, they were neutral in the war of course. Hitler pressured them by bombing the country.

So did Hitler bomb the jews of Dublin? No. I investigated this specific attack and used a city map to check the location of the jewish quarter. Lo and behold it lies directly between the main army barracks and the government buildings. As aerial bombing wasn’t that accurate in those days the bombs which were meant for one of the government buildings went a little off mark and landed in the streets of the jewish quarter.

I told my father recently, he didn’t want to know.

    • Yeah. Just like America and England hated Germany so bad, they bombed and murdered 25,000 innocent civilians at Dresden. Don’t get me wrong. I love my country. I love our military. I was even stupid enough to do my tour in Southeast Asia . The people I don’t love, are our leaders. Biggest hypocrites in the known universe.

25,000 people? At least 10 times that number of people were killed at Dresden. The guardians of the ‘good war’ myth arbitrarily decided that only the people who could be identified afterwards (i.e. a small minority of the victims in the case of a titanic release of incendiary bombs) died in Dresden. The city was full of unregistered refugees fleeing the Soviets and having no shelter. Top terrorist and mass murderer Winston Churchill wouldn’t have panicked (out of fear of the adverse effects for his image) as he did as the bombing of Dresden for 25,000 victims. The US army had killed 100,000 civilians in Tokyo less than 3 weeks before Churchill sent the telegram reproduced below. The death of 25,000 enemy civilians in a single bombing was nothing for such people. They used to view such bombings as a big thing only from civilian casualties on a scale of hundreds of thousands of victims.

        • edit: read “as he did after the bombing of Dresden” instead of “as he did as the bombing of Dresden”

    • I think it was a mistake; it is generally acknowledged today that it was a mistake — I mean, it sounds bizarre, right? — bombing Dublin: why? — it seem the target was Belfast, not Dublin, and back in those days navigation was not as accurate as it is today — in addition it is thought the British deliberately interfered with the Germans’ navigation — anyway, the Germans later apologized and paid compensation.

      Why the Nazis bombed Dublin

    • In 1943, Hitler even gave money for the rebuilding of a synagogue bombed by mistake in Dublin, Ireland.

      • How come this is not a fact more widely taught? Oops. I forgot. He wouldn’t look like a racist pig if they taught that. I don’t have kids, but if I did,I don’t think I’d want them in the public school system. I’d say home school the little shits. Yeah I know you gotta teach what the state says, but I’d be adding shit to it. Kids are smarter than what they’re given credit for (okay. Most kids). I say give them the whole story and let them decide. Don’t do like the liberal pukes do and break them until they’re in line with the whole collective. Allow them to think for themselves.

Certainly. And that would also damage the Holohoax. The thing happened in August 1943, i.e. after the ‘Holocaust’ had been “revealed to the world” ( or rather, used for atrocity propaganda, more accurately). So with this info about a synagogue in Dublin, we are supposed to believe that Hitler didn’t care to be remembered as a leader slaughtering millions of Jews in gas chambers, electric chambers, steam chambers, and so forth, but that he did care not to be remembered as a leader who had unintentionally damaged a synagogue in Ireland. Amazing ! Or, even more ridiculous, that he believed that his funding of a synagogue in Ireland would be able to conceal or whitewash his alleged mass slaughter of Europe’s Jewry. 😮 😮 😮 😮

  2. One of Andrew Joyce’s first articles on The Occidental Observer was “The Limerick Pogrom”:

  6. The Irish are being punished by Jews in the usual way: their country is being demographically destroyed — below is a foto of people who recently gained Irish citizenship (the tip of the iceberg, as the say) — this process was greatly accelerated by Alan Shatter, a politician in Ireland who is also a Jew.

  7. Tell him he can get a job in Malaysia. They really hate Jews there. All of us here, look like amateurs compared to those folks. Their biggest reason,Jews are trying to take control of the country through the DAP party ( I think that’s the name of the political party) . South Koreas not far behind . I’m not sure what their reasons are.

    Comment by Tim — August 6, 2017 @ 12:02 pm

    • The DAP? Ironic. In Germany, the DAP (Deutsche Arbeiterpartei) was the forerunner of the NSDAP or Nazi party.

  8. With the ban on books and statements about “the long and shameful history of anti-Gentilism everywhere,” such papers are nothing but a politically-motivated serious distortion of things. As useful as a book about the anti-aristocratic actions & statements of commoners in a country where the privileges and actions of aristocrats can not even be voiced.

“the Jews are the aristocrats of the world.” – Prominent US Jew and Zionist leader Samuel Untermyer, August 7, 1933.
