Braunau am Inn, where Hitler was born, is a charming town in Austria, with a population of about 17,500 people, on the south bank of the Inn river which separates Austria and Germany.

My photo above shows Salzburger Vorstadt, the street where Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889. The house where Hitler was born is on the right.

The street was renamed Adolf-Hitler-Strasse after the Anschluss of Germany and Austria on March 12, 1938.

The title of my blog post today is a quote from this news article:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2017/08/15/how-other-countries-have-dealt-with-monuments-to-dictators-fascists-and-racist/?utm_term=.c9b2fe1b61fc

Begin quote from news article:

In 1949, the newfound Federal Republic of Germany banned the swastika from public life. And since 1945, its government has worked to systematically get rid of Nazi-era memorials and architecture. Nazi officials were buried in unmarked graves. Swastikas were ground off buildings. Monuments and statues from the Third Reich were torn down. The military jail that housed high-ranking Nazi officials awaiting their war-crimes trials was torn down, so that it would not become a shrine for neo-Nazis. (According to Schofield, “Officials went so far as to pulverize the bricks and throw the remains into the North Sea.”) Zeppelin Field, former home of Nazi party rallies, was fenced off and visitors warned to keep away.

  1. Ehhh, didn’t they later say that there were no extermination camps in Germany, that all were in Poland?
    Something smells here…
    Don’t believe the Jews!
    Heil Hitler!

    • You wrote: “sanctimonious idiots on twitter”
      You quoted something from twitter:
      Begin quote
“My grandpa fought Nazis, liberated Buchenwald. Cried about what he saw, the smell of gas chambers.”

I don’t think that gas chambers smell, but I could be wrong. There were shower rooms that were claimed to be gas chambers. These shower rooms might have smelled of mildew. I don’t think that a real gas chamber has any smell.

    • Vat?!? Do you deny the Buchenwald gas chamber(s) too, eah?

      Documented by testimonies.

[begin quote]Appears the prisoner of war Heinrich ROHDE

Personal: I am named Heinrich ROHDE, born the 21.7.09 at TRITTAU/Schleswig, single, professional farm labourer. I have not belonged to the Party or one of her organisations.

Facts: I was 12 years in a concentration camp, and over 7 years in the concentration camp EMSLAND and 5 years in the concentration camp BUCHENWALD.

      CONCENTRATION CAMP BUCHENWALD

      […]

1-3 times monthly 200-1000 Jews German and foreigners with their families were sent in. These were then separated, men, women, children and led in the “Bathroom”, there they were killed by gas pouring through the showers.

      7.7.1945[end quote]

And S.S. Senior Troop Leader Gunter Herman Frich and camp guard Richard Thies even confessed the crime !

[begin quote] Appears the Waffen SS Oberschar Fuhrer Gunter – Herman FRICH and declares :

      […]

In Nijmegen I was wounded and came back to the general hospital Bruchühl, District Herford near Osnabruck. After my recovery I reported voluntary again for guard duties in concentration camps and came to the concentration camp Buchenwald.

      […]

There was also a gas chamber, Leader of this installation was the SS Sturmfuhrer HERBERT EMIL. For this man it was a pleasure to drive daily 40 to 50 prisoners through this gas chamber. The named Sturmfuhrer stood supplied with a gas mask at the entrance of the gas chamber, and drove the prisoners inside. He became as a special favour good food and higher pay.[end quote]

What else do you need to stop denying the undeniable? 😮 😉

      • Of course that lady denies gas chambers. As she admires Hitler and denies the holocaust. Obnoxious.

        Comment by Muller — August 16, 2017 @ 9:31 pm

        • Erh…that was a sarcastic comment. Everybody denies the Buchenwald gas chamber(s) these days, Muller. Old obsolete atrocity propaganda…

Muller wrote: “As she admires Hitler and denies the holocaust”

Frequent fallacy. Anybody could say as well: “As he/she despises and hates Hitler, he/she believes in the Holocaust.” Attributing real or imaginary biases to others is not an argument.

No, the Buchenwald gas chamber is alive and well. I wrote about it at

            • Yes. I should rather have said: “Everybody, except a few vets who missed almost 6 decades of updates, denies the Buchenwald gas chamber(s) these days.”
