Bergen-Belsen, the camp that is the most misunderstood

This recent article is about Bergen-Belsen:

The following quote is from the article:

Begin quote

A CALLER stunned Radio 2 listeners with a sick comment on the Holocaust live on air.

Former nurse Josephine Buck ranted “you never saw anybody fat coming out of Belsen” during an obesity debate on Jeremy Vine’s show.

She was referring to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany where the Nazis killed 50,000 mainly Jewish people in World War Two — including diarist Anne Frank, who was just 15.

Host Paddy O’Connell, filling in for Jeremy, did not apologise and merely moved on.

Josephine, from Dorset, also referred to obese people as “lumps of lard”. Kevin Hall wrote online: “Truly vile woman. Why do the BBC pander to these people?”

  1. I wasn`t at Belsen but I spent 3 years in Buchenwald from 1942/45 as a child, Iwas 8 1/2 when it came to the liberation which at the time I had typus so I do not remember it.
I spent my time in block 8, and the job I had was working in the kennels, as they found out I got on to well with the dogs.

At one time they caught me steeling some bread of a dead inmate and they pulled of my finger nails for it, to stop me stealing again.

  2. I’m surprised neither you nor your commenters mentioned Ada Bimko – regarding fat people at Belsen. Here’s a thread about the fat women of Belsen:

  4. The Germans didn’t kill anyone as far as I can see in the camp, but the British, with their takeover of the camp, saw more people die under their management of the camp then with the Germans running the show.
How come the British are not taken up on war crimes?

Because that would have explained the situation, exonerated Germany and blown the Hoax out of the water.

  5. Truth is hate speech.

Truth and science are both anti — “semitic” ‘holocaust’ deniers.

Fish swim, birds fly, and Jews lie.

    • When British soldiers in the early afternoon of 15 April 1945 ‘liberated’ the concentration camp Bergen-Belsen , they faced a picture of horror which had come as a shock to them , despite all the atrocities they had experienced during the war , what offered them were approximately 10,000 unburied corpses which lay scattered on the grounds of the camp , some already half decayed. Seeing the almost to skeleton emaciated corpses, the troops became aware, that the prisoners were not killed by gassing or shooting , but by starvation or epidemics. Even the sight of the still-living prisoners gave an idea of the extent of the crimes that had been committed in this concentration camp. The liberators received hardly any cheering , rather apathy and almost disbelief . Most prisoners lacked the strength to be happy about their arrival or to express joy to be free. Some of the inmates were already so weakened that they literally died before the eyes of the ‘liberating’ soldiers.

For many prisoners, the help provided came too late. Despite the prompt onset of relief efforts of the Britons more than 13,000 former prisoners died in the first twelve weeks after the liberation from the consequences of their detention, that is about a quarter of the 55,000 prisoners who had been freed in mid-April at Bergen-Belsen. The total number of victims of the concentration camp is estimated at 50,000.

Immediately after the liberation members of a Film and Photographic Unit of the British Army began their work , what they saw themselves here with stunned horror, was captured and held in hundreds of photos and film footages. These pictures were just shortly afterwards published in newspapers, magazines and newsreels, in particular in western foreign countries, pictures with which the public was confronted quite unexpectedly, and were for many a symbol of the totality of a National Socialist concentration camp and its systematic method of crimes committed.

This is nothing but atrocity propaganda.

The crimes were not commited in the camp; they were commited by British and American bombers that bombed Germany to rubble in the last couple of months of the war.

They were still playing soccer and drinking “weak beer” in the cantina at Auschwitz in October of 1944.

Germany had no policy to starve people to death ….. they did all they could to stop the epidemics and feed the inmates.

True, SP. Intentional mass deception for political purposes. A state-sponsored wave of bamboozlement intended to give credence to past, present and future lies (up to that time, labelled by many people as mere “atrocity stories” similar (when not identical) to those told by the Allies during the previous world war)…

          • Thank you for the document, hermie!

They admit in the document that the pictures of Buchenwald and Belsen were to “Establish war guilt” and that it was “the basis of the Nazi regime”

And my all-time favorite that I have read several times in different Revisionist works:

“Show that this was the justification of the war”

To anyone who knows the cause of the conditions in some of the camps at the very end of the war, this is a blatant admission that the war was totally UNJUSTIFIED!

            Comment by Sockpuppet2012 — October 25, 2017 @ 5:28 pm

      • Herbert

And the “Crimes” committed were what exactly? People died because of unsanitary conditions in the camp brought upon by whom? On purpose or just the collateral damage of war? Especially the allies part of making the camp conditions even worse. Like I mentioned in past post the British were in control of the camp when even more horrendous conditions existed and even more people died. I guess that doesn’t count and the British takeover of the camp didn’t end up with the commander being executed. That just happens to Germans.
