Volk ans Gewehr

One thing I like about this video is that it has the German lyrics printed out at the bottom of the screen so that we can all sing along.

  1. This is another good rendition of Folk ans Gewehr. Notice that the title in this case is actually Volksstrumlied. I like it that this version has both English and German subtitles, and I find it interesting that some of the video selections are modern movie footage of the fall of Berlin rather than classic German news reel footage.

  2. The oft repeated mantra is; If it were not for the Russians, we in Europe would now be speaking German. To which I always reply; If it were not for the Germans we in Europe would now be speaking Russian, or more likely Yiddish !.

  3. This music is forbidden in Germany. The Jews now control Germany completely, so don’t be reading my blog if you are a German citizen.
