Free speech in America doesn’t include the Holocaust

It is well known that America is one of the few countries that still has free speech with regard to Holocaust denial, but that does not extend to college campuses.

Auschwitz main camp

A news article, which you can read in full here, tells the story of a college student who got into trouble because he questioned the sacred 6 million.

The following quote is from the news article:

The elected student member of the community college system serving the Sacramento region is in hot water after questioning the number of Jews killed in World War II concentration camps and other controversial statements made during an interview with a college newspaper.

It is student trustee Cameron Weaver’s comments on the Holocaust in the Sept. 18 interview that have drawn the most ire and have started rumblings of a recall against him. Weaver was interviewed by the Current, the American River College student newspaper.

“Now I’m definitely not gonna go out and venture and say anything like ‘Oh, Holocaust didn’t happen.’ There are tons of people that make that argument. And from a really non-biased perspective, I completely disagree, but I also completely agree. What I mean when I say both is I don’t know the answer,” Weaver told his college paper.

Weaver, 26, also suggested that some percentage of the 6 million Jews who died in the Holocaust actually died during earlier religious persecution. He did not deny that Jewish people were tortured.

Weaver earns a stipend of $8,500 for the one-year term. He was seated in June.

How Lou Dunst survived a gas chamber twice, and now lives the good life in San Diego, CA

You can read the full story about how Lou Dunst survived a gas chamber twice here: http://www.sdjewishworld.com/2013/12/27/biography-of-lou-dunst-tells-of-his-three-lives/

This quote is from the link cited above:

Lou and his brother survived Auschwitz only to be forced once again into a boxcar to another death camp, Mauthausen. Once again, they were herded into a gas chamber, expecting to die, choked to death by poisonous gas. “We were pressed together, naked, shrieking with horror, people falling on each other, some trampled, gasping for air, unable to think, function, even form some kind of prayer.” The killing machine did not work.

But as Lou asserts, “Ha-Shem (God) made another miracle.” Lou’s deep faith in God was once again affirmed.

Barely alive at the death camp Mauthausen, starving and thirsty, the emaciated inmates cried out for water or a little piece of stale bread, anything that could help them survive, but the guards only responded with contempt. “They told us not to worry; we were going to the gas chamber anyway.” The next morning the prisoners were shoved, pushed, kicked into the gas chamber. They waited for the smell of the gas, but it didn’t come. There was a malfunction in the system and the poisonous gas was not funneled through the gas lines to reach its destination so it did not work. Lou and the others miraculously got out from the gas chamber, hysterical, demoralized, relieved, confused, grateful, terrorized, but still not dead.”

Finally the doors opened and the stunned slaves rush out into the open air. The Nazis pushed and shoved the scared and naked prisoners into the central meeting ground, where the commandant of Mauthausen casually remarked: “To burn our bodies was too expensive. Instead, he would send us to a place where we would vanish without any cost to the Third Reich.”

Lou and Irving were transferred once again, this time to Ebensee, a sub-camp of Mauthausen, where they were to work underground making pilotless VI rockets that would rain down on London. At Ebensee, one of the harshest death camps, Lou was placed on a pile of corpses; hardly breathing and with little pulse, Lou awaited death.

On May 6, 1945, American GI Robert Persinger of the Third Cavalry of General George S. Patton’s Third Army drove his tank, the Lady Luck, through the camp fence to liberate the inmates of Ebensee. Irving Dunst grabbed Persinger’s hand and tugged him over to his brother’s seemingly lifeless body on the pile of corpus and shouted: “That’s my brother. Please rescue him.”

Lou’s miraculous rescue was the beginning of the third phase in the life of Lou Dunst. Lou was slowly nursed back to health and life by many, including a stay in a Catholic hospital where the Sisters of Mercy showed respect and treated him humanely, until he was well enough to leave on his own. Lou and Irving, like so many other survivors went in search of their relatives and of any survivors they could find. They made their way back to Jasina walking, hitch-hiking or riding on army vehicle and on trains going east. They placed hand-written notes on bulletin boards in towns along the way, notifying anyone who was searching for survivors that they were alive and that they could be reached at the main European Jewish office that was trying to connect surviving relatives with one another. Most of all, they looked for any information they could find about Risi, their sister.

After reading this story about the failure of the gas chambers, I was left wondering why oh why didn’t the Nazis send someone to Missouri to learn how to construct a workable gas chamber.

Missouri is a state that is full of German-Americans, even to this day.  In the 1940ies, most of the citizens of Missouri could still speak German.

I blogged about the Missouri gas chamber on this blog post:  https://furtherglory.wordpress.com/2012/06/03/what-does-a-real-gas-chamber-look-like/

You can read all about the Mauthausen gas chamber on my website at http://www.scrapbookpages.com/Mauthausen/Gas%20Chamber/GasChamberEntrance.html

Door into the Mauthausen gas chamber

Door into the Mauthausen gas chamber with water pipe going into the room, shown on the left

The photo above shows the door into the Mauthausen shower room gas chamber. Looking through the door, one can see the interior of the gas chamber with heating pipes or cooling pipes on the north wall and the single drain hole on the brick floor.

On the wall to the right of the shower gas chamber door is a water pipe going into the gas chamber, which could have been used as a fully functioning shower room, when it was not in use as a gas chamber.

On the other side of the wall adjacent to the gas chamber is a small room which is now empty. Former prisoners at Mauthausen said that the “gassing apparatus” was located in a room adjoining the gas chamber.  This was the apparatus which did not work properly when Lou Dunst was being gassed.

I wrote about the Ebensee camp on this page of my website:

I blogged about the Holocaust gas chambers that are still in existence on this blog post:  https://furtherglory.wordpress.com/2010/08/30/how-many-of-the-nazi-gas-chambers-are-still-in-existence/

The story of Holocauast survivor Albert Rosa, as told in his own words

Yesterday, I had the privilege of hearing Holocaust survivor Albert Rosa speak to a crowd of people in Folsom, CA. [Yes, the town of Folsom, about which Johnny Cash sang, in his famous song Folsom Prison Blues]

In the past, I have blogged about Albert Rosa at Dachau here. In his speech at Folsom, he briefly mentioned Kaufering and Dachau, but didn’t elaborate on what he did there.

You can read about what Albert Rosa essentially said in his speech on this website:

Eventually, he was transported from Greece to Poland in a cattle truck. They were cramped in that space for 10 days and nights with no food, water or facilities. People were suffocating and starving to death. The air was hot and filled with the smell of decomposing bodies.

“The children were crying, ‘Mommy I’m hungry, I’m thirsty,’” said Rosa. “Me, I was an athlete, I used to compete in other sports, I could take the punishment.”

When they arrived at the “death camps” they had been totally dehumanized. Those who were too old or too young for slave labor were sent to the gas chambers. Rosa had never seen a crematory before that, but the horrible smoke that filled the air was impossible to ignore.

In the concentration camp, the men and women were divided. Shortly after their arrival, Rosa traded uniforms with another prisoner to see his older sister Luna. His sister, who had once been beautiful and wealthy, was now malnourished and bald, which broke Rosa’s heart.

For just a moment Rosa forgot he was in a concentration camp; he called out to his sister and a female guard noticed. He watched as they killed his sister and then took her away in small wagon “like trash.”

On the day of Albert Rosa’s speech, I arrived early and was escorted down to the 2nd row, where I was sitting only a few feet away from Rosa, who did not stand on a stage while he talked.

I was treated very well by everyone, with whom I came in contact there; I think that I was mistaken for a Jew. I had purchased a ticket online and printed it out, but the man at the door didn’t take my ticket; he just waved me on through the door, which was being manned by a guy with a beard, dressed entirely in black, including a large black hat.

Fortunately, before going to hear the speech, I had read Rosa’s story on the Internet at http://www.jewishjournal.com/survivor/article/survivor_albert_rosa_20120315

Rosa’s speech, in Folsom, covered everything that is included in the link above, and nothing more. I had brought a notepad with me and was prepared to take notes, but this was impossible because he talked a-mile-a-minute and there was not enough time for me to take even very short notes.  Besides that, he spoke with a heavy Greek accent which I could not understand. I could only catch a few words here and there.

As everyone knows, Albert Rosa is famous for the fact that he did not mention the Holocaust, nor his imprisonment, for over 50 years. This has caused many people to think that he was never in a concentration camp. Rosa explained all that in his speech.  He said that he had had “electric shock treatment” late in life and after that, he remembered everything and he began to talk.   [Electric shock treatment used to be used as a cure for mental illness, so I don’t think that he should have mentioned this.]

Strangely, Albert Rosa does not have an entry on Wikipedia.

For his Folsom speech, Rosa had brought along an 8 by 10 photo album, filled with faded and yellowed photographs, which he showed on a huge screen on the stage behind him.

Before he began his talk, there was a huge photo of prisoners at Buchenwald put up on  the screen. It was a faded and yellowed copy of the photo below.

Famous photo taken at Buchenwald allegedly shows Eli Wiesel

Famous photo taken at Buchenwald allegedly shows Eli Wiesel (Click on the photo to enlarge)

As this photo was up on the screen, no one in the audience said a word.  I suspect that few people in the audience knew that this was a photo of Buchenwald, not Auschwitz, where Rosa was allegedly a prisoner. Rosa used this photo to show what the beds were like in Auschwitz.

During his talk, Rosa said that the prisoners at Auschwitz slept on beds like the beds shown in the photo.  He should have tried to locate a photo of the bunks at Auschwitz, which were nothing like these bunk beds.

Every Holocaust survivor’s story must include some version of the claim that the survivor saw an SS man bash a baby’s head against the side of a train.  Rosa claimed to have seen this on the very day that he arrived at Auschwitz.

He claimed that he was on a train, bound for Auschwitz, for 10 days and 10 nights, without food or water. On the train, he was dressed only in his shorts [underwear] and he had no shoes. He said that he rested on a dead body on the train.

Recently, there has been a story in the news about two young Jewish boys who went out into the ocean, and their boat capsized.  The search for the boys has been called off  because allegedly, a young healthy Jewish boy cannot survive more than four days without water.  The search should continue because Albert Rosa has proved that a Jew can go without food or water for TEN days.

During his talk, Rosa mentioned a friend who was hanged at Auschwitz and his body was left hanging for days.  As he said this, a photo that was taken at Buchenwald, was shown.  Rosa claimed that this was a photo of his friend. I wonder how many people in the audience noticed that there were American soldiers in the backgrounds of the photo, so this could not have been taken at Auschwitz. [American soldiers did not liberate Auschwitz.]

Throughout his talk, the photos changed.  Strangely, all the photos were taken at Bergen-Belsen, including the photo of the Auschwitz commandant, who was sent to Bergen-Belsen when Auschwitz closed.

Josef Kramer

Josef Kramer, Auschwtiz commandant

Many photos of Bergen-Belsen were shown during his speech, but were purported to have been taken at Auschwitz.

Rosa made many mistakes in his story, as he talked about Auschwitz. For example, he said that he talked to his older sister, Luna, through a CHAIN LINK FENCE.  At this point, he should have put up an old photo of a chain link fence at Auschwitz.  I have been to Auschwitz 3 times, and all the chin link fences are now gone.

Rosa claimed that he had seen his sister killed by an SS man, who then threw her naked body onto a pile of bodies.  I find it hard to believe this story. He showed an old photo of his sister, and kept saying how beautiful she was.  He seemed to be saying that this was a more heinous crime because she was so beautiful.

Rosa also told about taking an SS ring from the dead body of an SS man, whom he had killed by using his boxing skills. He had this ring changed into a ring with a Jewish emblem and he used it later to hit an SS man, scarring his face with a Jewish emblem.  The audience loved this story.

During his speech, Rosa brought out his 5 medals, which he had earned fighting with the American Army after he escaped from a concentration camp. He also mentioned that he had fought with the Irgun. I was surprised that he told this.

I don’t know how old Albert Rosa is, but he is in very good shape for a man who allegedly survived the Holocaust.  His daughter was there, helping him with his photos.  She is very beautiful and seems to be in very good health.

Most of the people in the audience were young people; many of the girls and young women were wearing shorts, which I don’t think was appropriate for a speech about the Holocaust.  There were not enough seats in the auditorium and three rows of young people had to sit on the floor in front of the stage.

In closing, I have to say that “a good time was had by all.”

After the Rialto Holocaust assignment fiasco, students will now study “The Holocaust Chronicle,” a Jewish history of the Holocaust (updated)

Scroll down to read the update.

You can read about the new assignment for the students in the Rialto school district at http://www.sbsun.com/social-affairs/20140918/rialto-unified-details-plan-to-re-teach-holocaust-were-really-trying

Previously, the students were asked to study both sides of the Holocaust and write an essay, giving their opinion. Now these same students will be trained in only the Jewish side of the story.

The Holocaust Chronicle is a 709 page book, which weighs about 20 pounds. I have a copy of this book in my home library and I have read most of it.

Jewish book tells history of the Holocaust

Jewish book tells history of the Holocaust

I found this quote, regarding the identity of the girl on the cover:

The young girl pictured on our homepage, and on the cover of The Holocaust Chronicle book, was discovered by British troops in the typhus ward of the Bergen-Belsen, Germany, concentration camp in April 1945. She was one of approximately 60,000 inmates found alive at the camp. Of that number, at least 10,000 were so ravaged by disease and the effects of overwork that they died after their liberation.

The girl’s name, background, and ultimate fate are unknown. We do know that she looked into a camera in April 1945, and that she may very well have walked out of Bergen-Belsen, ready to make her future. If you feel you can identify this girl, please contact us by clicking here, and forward your remarks.

So you can’t get past the cover of this book without reading mistaken so-called facts about the Holocaust. There were 13,000 prisoners who allegedly died after Bergen-Belsen was voluntarily turned over to the British.  Bergen-Belsen was an EXCHANGE camp, a fact which should have been mentioned.

There are numerous mistakes in The Holocaust Chronicle.

In looking for the mistakes, I started with the section on Dachau. On page 578, there is a full-page photo of a Dachau guard who has been shot in the leg, so that he can’t escape the prisoners who are preparing to beat him to death with a shovel. There is an American soldier in the background, holding a pistol. He has his back turned and is ignoring the whole thing.  Is he the one who shot this man in the leg so that the inmates could beat the man to death with a shovel?

German was shot in the leg at Dachau so that the prisoners could beat him to death with a shovel

German man was shot in the leg at Dachau so that the prisoners could beat him to death with a shovel

This is a photo that illustrates the “Dachau massacre,” but the book does not mention this war crime committed by the American liberators.  The man who is preparing to beat the man with a shovel is a Polish Resistance Fighter who was legally incarcerated at Dachau because he was an illegal combatant.  Does The Holocaust Chronicle explain this?  Of course not.

I didn’t have to look very far from the above cited page to find another serious mistake on page 585. There is a photo of some Gypsy children on page 585.  The caption on the photo says that these children “had been subjected to savage medical experiments.”

Gypsy children who are suffering from a disease called "Noma."

Gypsy children who are suffering from a disease called “Noma.”

I blogged about these children, who are suffering from a disease called “Noma,” on this blog post:

https://furtherglory.wordpress.com/2010/09/04/what-imams-learned-on-their-trip-to-auschwitz/

I also blogged about a famous photo, taken at Nordhausen. This photo is shown on page 598 of The Holocaust Chronicle, with a caption that says that these bodies are the bodies of inmates, which the Germans “had left to rot” at Nordhausen.

https://furtherglory.wordpress.com/tag/prisoners-killed-by-american-bombs/

Should public schools in America allow children to study the Jewish version of history, or is this a violation of the First Amendment?

What if a student points out a mistake in The Holocaust Chronicle?  Will he or she be expelled for the crime of “Holocaust denial”?

Update Sept. 26, 2014:

I started looking through my copy of The Holocaust Chronicle again this morning to get an idea of what the students in the Rialto school district will be learning about the Holocaust.

On page 451 of the book, I found the photo below, which I have on my website scrapbookpages.com.

Demonstration of how the corpses were dragged to the ovens at Dachau

Demonstration of how the corpses were dragged to the ovens at Dachau

This photo is not on a page about Dachau in The Holocaust Chronicle. It is on a page about the Warsaw ghetto. The caption on the photo identifies the men in the photo as Sonderkommandos, and says that the Sonderkommando Jews assisted the Nazis in order to spare their own lives.  There is no hint that this photo was taken after the liberation of Dachau, at the suggestion of the American liberators.

The photo above is part of a set of 3 photos.  The other two photos, which I have on my website are shown below.

Photo taken after Dachau was liberated shows how bodies were dragged to the ovens

Photo taken after Dachau was liberated shows how bodies were dragged to the ovens

Demonstration of how bodies were put into the ovens at Dachau

Demonstration of how bodies were put into the ovens at Dachau

This quote is from the page of my website which shows the three photos above:

The three old photos [above] show crematory workers demonstrating how they dragged the dead bodies out of the morgue, loaded them onto a stretcher and then shoved them into the cremation ovens. Posed photographs, such as those shown [above], were offered for sale to American soldiers who visited the museum set up in Baracke X by the US Army after the liberation of Dachau. All three photos are courtesy of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

According to Marcus J. Smith, a U.S. Army doctor, who wrote a book called “The Harrowing of Hell,” the chief of the crematorium crew was Ludvik “a heavy, powerfully muscled Czech who has labored in the crematorium for a long time.” Smith wrote that Ludvik sent him a letter in which he complained that his team of 10 people were not being treated as well as they had been by the SS. Ludvik wrote in this letter: “We feel that after our liberation, at least the same standard of living should be maintained. But our position is worse than then as to food, drinks and tobacco.”

Smith wrote that, because the cremation efforts were too slow, the bodies were buried by German civilians “at the American commander’s request.” The corpses were taken on carts to the burial site on a hill called Leitenberg where the bodies were transferred to a bulldozed excavation, according to Smith. He wrote that “Eventually 2,400 bodies were buried.” That would mean that there was a total of 3,110 bodies in the camp, including those of the prisoners who died between April 29th and May 6th after the liberation. There were allegedly 2,310 bodies on the death train that arrived in the camp on April 27, 1945, which would have to be included in this total. There were 2,226 prisoners who died in the month of May 1945 after the liberation of the camp; they were buried in a cemetery in the town of Dachau.

Why is this photo, taken after the liberation of Dachau, on a page about the Warsaw ghetto in The Holocaust Chronicle?

The only reason, that I can think of, is that this is a horrible photo which illustrates how evil the Nazis were.  Students, who will be required to study this book, will assume that the dummy in the photo is a human being who is being dragged to an oven, probably while still alive.

Rialto student mentioned Charles A. Lindbergh in Holocaust hoax essay

I am continuing to follow the Holocaust essay debacle in the California Rialto school district “critical thinking” assignment, and today I read a sample essay here.

The essay starts out with this quote:

Many believe the Holocaust to be an event that almost exterminated all living Jews while other believe it to be nothing more than a propaganda act. I believe that it was a propaganda act, and my reasons are: no cyanide resident on the walls of gas chambers, only a small amount of Jews died in concentration camps, and even the Diary of Anne Frank is a lie.

As I stated earlier, no cyanide residue was left on the walls of these so called “gas chambers.” Fred A. Leuchter, one of America’s leading experts and specialists on the design of fabrication and execution equipment, scraped of some samples of the walls at a gas chamber, there should have been clear signs of cyanide residue on the walls, but there wasn’t any, any at all. Three years later, the Polish government went to the exact location to try and disprove his findings, but they then found out he was right. With this evidence, it should be enough to prove that the Holocaust is a hoax.

Charles A. Lindbergh

Charles A. Lindbergh

But this quote from the sample essay, written by a student who argued on the side of the Holocaust being a hoax, caught my eye:

“If that wasn’t enough, maybe this will be. A man named Charles A. Lindbergh visited one of these concentration camps soon after WW2 ended, and he was told that only 25,000 died in 1 to 1/2 years. Now, even children as young as 8 would agree that 25,000 multiplied by half a dozen camps doesn’t equal 6,0000,000, not even 600,000. Even if we threw away all this evidence, the number of Jews persecuted keeps increasing. First, it’s 6,000,000, then it’s 9,000,000, and then what, 12,000,000? The good people of America need to wake up and get some common sense. Our country has been the one to donate more money to Israel than any other country in the world: 35 billion each year! If we didn’t donate the money, every family in America could have a brand new Mercedes-Benz. Obviously, this evidence should make you believe the holocaust is a hoax.”

Lindbergh visited the Mittlebau Dora camp which had underground factories where the Germans were building rockets.  I previously blogged about the liberation of the Mittlebau Dora camp here.

The Mittlebau Dora camp was bombed by the Allies, and photos of the dead bodies of prisoners, who were killed by bombs, are frequently claimed to be the bodies of Jews who were killed by the Germans.

This quote from this website is what Lindbergh wrote about his visit to Mittlebau Dora after the war:

Here was a place where men and life and death had reached the lowest form of degradation. How could any reward in national progress even faintly justify the establishment and operation of such a place?
After visiting the Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp in Germany, as quoted in The New York Times (20 April 1980)

The student who wrote about Lindbergh in his school essay obviously did not know who Lindbergh was; he wrote “a man named Charles A. Lindbergh,” instead of writing something like this:  “Charles A. Lindbergh, the famous aviator who flew non-stop across the Atlantic ocean from New York to Paris in a single-engine plane in 1927.”  The student should have mentioned that Lindbergh was a Nazi sympathizer who fell into disrepute later in life when he was attacked because of his beliefs.

The most important thing about the Dora-Mittlebau camp is that photos of the dead prisoners, who were killed by Allied bombs, are frequently claimed to be the bodies of dead Jews who were killed by the Germans.  I wrote about this in a previous blog post here.

You can watch a You-Tube video which shows the inside of the tunnel where prisoners were working on the building of V2-rockets.

You can watch a disingenuous propaganda video, which incorrectly states that the 2,500 prisoners who were killed by American bombs, were killed by the Germans.

Beginning in March 1944, a section of the Bergen-Belsen camp was used to house prisoners from other concentration camps or forced labor camps who were sick and unable to work any longer. By 1945, sick prisoners from all over Germany were being brought to Bergen-Belsen. Prisoners in this section received inadequate medical care and there was a high mortality rate, according to the Memorial Site. This section of Bergen-Belsen was also sometimes called the Krankenlager or Sick camp.

The first transport brought to the Bergen-Belsen recuperation camp arrived on March 27, 1944; it consisted of 1000 inmates from the Dora-Mittelbau camp, where the prisoners had been forced to work in underground factories building the V-2 rockets for the German military. Most of these prisoners were suffering from tuberculosis, a fatal disease. By the time Bergen-Belsen was liberated, a little over a year later, only 57 of them were still alive.

Some of the inmates, who had been evacuated from the Dora-Mittelbau concentration camp and some of its sub-camps on April 3rd, 4th and 5th, ended up in the town of Gardelegen. The 4,000 prisoners from Dora-Mittelbau had been bound for the Bergen-Belsen, Sachsenhausen or Neuengamme concentration camps, but when the railroad tracks were bombed by American planes, the prisoners had been re-routed to Gardelegen, which was the site of a Cavalry Training School and a Parachutist Training School. The trains were forced to stop before reaching the town of Gardelegen and some of the prisoners escaped. The escaped prisoners terrorized the nearby villages, raping, looting and killing civilians. When they were caught, the prisoners were put into a barn at Gardelegen, and the infamous Gardelegen Massacre was the end result.

the father of Assemblywoman Cheryl R. Brown helped to liberate Auschwitz

Say what? Shocked kid listens to Obama speech in 2009

The following quote is from a news article, which you can read in full here.  The title of the article is California School’s Holocaust Denial Assignment Requires ‘Reeducating’ of Misled Youth.

Assemblywoman Cheryl R. Brown (D-San Bernardino) revealed that her own father had served during WWII and had helped to liberate the Aushwitz (sic) concentration camp in Poland. He had told her about the smell of burned bodies as a child, writes the Times. “As a result of this assignment, we must now deal with reeducating young people who have been misled by this district,” Brown told the school board.

Cheryl Brown, whose father helped to liberate Aushwitz

Cheryl R. Brown, whose father helped to liberate Aushwitz in Poland

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.  And black soldiers in the U.S. Army liberated Aushwitz.  This was not the Auschwitz “death camp” but a different camp, in Poland, called Aushwitz. (Note the difference in the spelling of the names of these two camps.)

This quote is also from the article:

One frustrated Pasadena-based attorney Neal Fialkow, who was also present at the board meeting, said the damage may already be done, notes the Times. Addressing the school board, he said “You’ve planted a seed of doubt… Congratulations. You’ve taken a[n] historical fact and made it a matter of opinion. What’s next, 9/11 never happened?” he posited. “Every single child now has been infected.”

What a revolting development this is!  “Every single child [in the Rialto school district] has now been infected.  Is there any hope for these children?

I blogged about the liberation of Auschwitz on this blog post: https://furtherglory.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/january-27-2013-is-international-holocaust-remembrance-day/

At least 50 students denied the Holocaust in Rialto critical thinking essays

According to a news article, which you can read in full here, at least 50 of the Ridalto 8th grade students, who participated in a “critical thinking” assignment about the Holocaust, wrote an essay in which they expressed doubt about the Holocaust, or flatly denied it.

What a revolting development this is! [1]

This quote is from the article: “To write the in-class essay, students were given printouts from About.com, History.com and Holocaust denial site BibleBelievers.org.au.

I went to the BibleBelievers.org.au website and read their “Holocaust Denial” web page.   Very clever!  Click on the link and see for yourself.  The article starts out by mentioning Fred Lauchter. As everyone knows this is the kiss of death because Lauchter has been thoroughly discredited by the Holocaust Believers. Fred doesn’t have a degree in Engineering, so what does he know!

Years ago, I put up a page on my scrapbookpages.com website, on which I quoted the Leuchter Report on the Dachau gas chamber, with links to my Dachau photos to illustrate what he was talking about.  I got a lot of flak for doing this, and I had to refuse many requests, from Holocaust Believers, to take down this page.

This quote is from the news article:

Rialto Unified School District administrators, besieged by criticism after the assignment became public in May, claimed at the time that none of the students who completed the assignment questioned or denied the Holocaust, but a survey of the students’ work by this news organization found numerous examples of students expressing doubt or flatly denying that the Holocaust occurred.

[…]

Administrators have said the district’s roughly 2,000 eighth-grade students were assigned the essays in April as a critical thinking project. After the assignment became public, the district was roundly criticized by angry parents, Jewish advocacy groups and scholars and members of the state Legislature.

“Students got high praise and grades for writing that the Holocaust was a hoax. I’m sick about that, I’m sick about that,” said Rabbi Suzanne Singer of Temple Beth El in Riverside. “It’s worse than I thought it was.”

At the time that the news came out, about this story, I was highly suspicious of the claim that none of the students had written an essay in which they had expressed any Holocaust denial.  I wrote several posts about this subject, including this blog post: https://furtherglory.wordpress.com/2014/05/10/critical-thinking-assignment-started-with-the-study-of-the-diary-of-anne-frank/

This morning, I went to the About.com website and checked it out.  I decided to see what About.com says about the Dachau gas chamber: http://history1900s.about.com/library/holocaust/bldachau26.htm

I have the same photo, which is shown by About.com, on this page of my website:  http://www.scrapbookpages.com/DachauScrapbook/GasChamber/disinfection01.html

If you want to stay out of prison in 19 countries, you should get your Holocaust education from About.com.  Don’t be reading my website, or you could wind up in prison for 5 years.

“photogenic felon” looks like a “Hitler youth” sez Bob Beckel on “The Five” talk show

Mug shot of a criminal in California has gone viral

Update, July 2, 2014:  Fox News reported today that the “photogenic felon” has signed with an agent, who will be in charge of finding modeling jobs for him. His photo would be great in advertisements, but what kind of products would show him — with his teardrop tattoo, which means that he has killed people.

Read my original post:

On Friday, Bob Beckel said, on “The Five” talk show on Fox News, that “the photogenic felon” shown in the photo above looks like a Hitler Youth.

I think that what über liberal Bob Beckel was trying to say is that this 30-year-old American felon looks like the worst criminal in the world.  The worst criminals in the world are the Germans, especially the German citizens who were followers of Hitler.

When I started to write this blog post today, I had to look up the spelling of the name, to make sure that I got it right. I thought that the correct spelling would be Bechel since this is obviously a German name.  During World War I, a lot of German-Americans changed the spelling of their names; his family had probably changed their name long before that.

How many blue-eyed “Rhineland bastards” were in the Hitler Youth?

I was surprised to learn that the “photogenic felon” is from Stockton, California, which is only a few miles from Sacramento.  Around 20 years ago, I was riding on a city bus in Sacramento, and a little boy about 10 years old was sitting across from me.  He had beautiful light blue eyes, and the light complexion of a mixed race African American person.  I was stunned by his uncommon good looks.  It could be that this little boy grew up to be the “photogenic felon.”

In Germany, in the 1930s, there were Afro-German children, who were the offspring of French soldiers stationed in the Rhineland. When Hitler came to power, he ordered that these children must be sterilized or leave Germany.  You can be sure that none of these children, with African blood, were in the Hitler Youth.

This quote about Afro-Germans, in World War II, is from Wikipedia:

Under eugenics laws during the Third Reich, race alone was not sufficient criteria for forced sterilization, but anyone could request sterilization for themselves or a minor under their care.[12] The cohort of mixed-race children born during occupation were approaching adulthood when, in 1937, with Hitler’s approval, a special Gestapo commission was created and charged with “the discrete sterilization of the Rhineland bastards.”[13] It is unclear how much these minors were told about the procedures, or how many parents only consented under pressure from the Gestapo.[14] An estimated 500 children were sterilized under this program, including girls as young as 12.[15]

Bob Beckel’s comment was a grave insult to today’s German people.

Students in the USA should be studying the American Depression

This morning, I read a news article in the Northwest Herald newspaper about 8th grade students in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, who “have been building memorials to the victims of the Holocaust to be part of a Holocaust memorial museum in the school’s library.”

This quote is from the article, which you can read in full at http://www.nwherald.com/2014/05/19/prairie-grove-students-create-holocaust-memorial-museum/atixnh0/

PRAIRIE GROVE – A mattress and a bed don’t seem like big things, but 14-year-old Samantha Kelly has a whole new appreciation for them.
The Prairie Grove eighth-grader and her classmates have been building memorials to the victims of the Holocaust to be part of a Holocaust memorial museum in the school’s library. […]

Kelly’s memorial is a replica mattress of the one described in Hana’s Suitcase, a nonfiction story the class read.

“[The mattress] just stood out to us,” Kelly said. “I don’t know. … We were going to compare it to how lucky it made us seem. Some people don’t think it’s a big deal that they sleep in a bed, but prisoners had to sleep on hay. The comparison was really strong to us.”

Did the Nazis spread hay on the floor of the Jewish barracks, or did they use hay to stuff the mattresses on which the Jews slept?

Today’s students in Arkansas should be studying the history of what Americans suffered during “the Great Depression.”  I lived through the depression, and I did not have a mattress to sleep upon.  Other members of my family were living in  luxury: they slept on a substitute mattress, which was a cotton sack, filled with corn shucks.  Hay was too valuable, as food for animals, to be used to stuff a mattress during the American depression.

Famous photo from the Depression days in America

Famous photo, called “Migrant Mother” from the Depression days in America

The photograph, shown above, that has become known as “Migrant Mother” is one of a series of photographs that Dorothea Lange made in February or March of 1936 in Nipomo, California. Lange was concluding a month’s trip photographing migratory farm labor around the state for what was then the Resettlement Administration. In 1960, Lange gave this account of the experience:

I saw and approached the hungry and desperate mother, as if drawn by a magnet. I do not remember how I explained my presence or my camera to her, but I do remember she asked me no questions. I made five exposures, working closer and closer from the same direction. I did not ask her name or her history. She told me her age, that she was thirty-two. She said that they had been living on frozen vegetables from the surrounding fields, and birds that the children killed. She had just sold the tires from her car to buy food. There she sat in that lean- to tent with her children huddled around her, and seemed to know that my pictures might help her, and so she helped me. There was a sort of equality about it. (From: Popular Photography, Feb. 1960).

This is the caption on the photo above:  Dorothea Lange’s “Migrant Mother,” destitute in a pea picker’s camp, because of the failure of the early pea crop. These people had just sold their tent in order to buy food. Most of the 2,500 people in this camp were destitute. By the end of the decade there were still 4 million migrants on the road.

The state of Arkansas was one of the states that were particularly hard hit during the Great Depression.

How did America finally get out of “The Great Depression”?  World War II saved America because jobs were created and destitute men joined the Army or the Navy. Women found jobs in the factories which were set up to make war materials.

This is what 8th graders in America should be studying, not what kind of mattresses the Jews had in their barracks in the concentration camps.

For those who don’t know about Arkansas and the Great Depression, start with this article at http://www.arkansasbusiness.com/article/40159/the-depression-and-arkansas-historians-shine-light-on-dark-era?page=all

It is hard to get students in America interested in any history, except the history of the Holocaust, which they start learning in kindergarten, but I think that Arkansas students should study the history of their state.

There is a famous song entitled “Hey Oakie, did you see Arkie, out in Californy?” Arkansas students should start by learning  to sing  this song .

The “always perspicacious” Glenn Beck has written a book on Common Core

Last night, on his TV show The Factor, Bill O’Reilly introduced his guest, Glenn Beck, as “the always perspicacious Glenn Beck.”

O’Reilly then proceeded to define this highfalutin word for Glenn Beck, who didn’t know what it meant.

Or maybe Beck was just pretending that he didn’t know.  Glenn Beck is self educated, and he doesn’t know what everyone in America should know, due to their indoctrination in the American school system.

Beck was a guest on The Factor because he is promoting a new book, which he has just written, on today’s educational standards, which are called Common Core.

Glenn Beck’s complaint, about Common Core standards, is that it is part of America’s “cultural war,” about which Bill O’Reilly has spoken many times on his TV show. Beck thinks that the purpose of the Common Core is to produce “good little workers” for American business firms.

Beck specifically mentioned a speech, given by Bill Gates, one of the founders of Microsoft. Beck said that America is now “adopting  a new kind of capitalism, like that in China.” He added that “a truck driver doesn’t need to read Huck Finn.  He was making the point that today’s students are taught to be “good little workers.”

Glen cited the Common Core English test, which has sentences to “indoctrinate kids” into progressive thinking.

Way back in the Dark Ages, when I was in “grade school,” English was taught by having students diagram a sentence on a blackboard, a method which is not taught any more.  If you know how to diagram a sentence, you will never make the mistake of dangling a participle.  Today’s students, who type with their thumbs, on their “mobile device,” don’t know what a participle is and they couldn’t care less about English grammar.

Early on, during Glenn Beck’s former TV show, I deduced that Glenn is not a college graduate. He revealed many times, that he doesn’t know what every college graduate knows.  It was very clear to me that Glenn is completely self educated.

Just to make sure, I went to Wikipedia to confirm that Glenn Beck did not graduate from college.

I found this quote on Wikipedia:

In 1996, while working for a New Haven area radio station, Beck took a theology class at Yale University, with a written recommendation from Senator Joe Lieberman, a Yale alumnus who was a fan of Beck’s show at the time.[38] Beck enrolled in an “Early Christology” course, but soon withdrew, marking the extent of his post-secondary education.[36][39]

[…]
As he later recounted in his books and stage performances, Beck’s first attempt at self-education involved six wide-ranging authors, comprising what Beck jokingly calls “the library of a serial killer”: Alan Dershowitz, Pope John Paul II, Adolf Hitler, Billy Graham, Carl Sagan, and Friedrich Nietzsche.[38] During this time, Beck’s Mormon friend and former radio partner Pat Gray argued in favor of the “comprehensive worldview” offered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, an offer that Beck rejected until a few years later.[36]

I will probably not rush out to buy Glenn Beck’s new book, and I will tell you why:  I have now come to the conclusion that Common Core is a good idea for American’s schools.  All young people are now learning what they need to know to get along in today’s world.  They don’t need to learn the truth; what they need to know is accepted history.

Regarding the recent assignment, given to students in the Rialto Unified School District, to read a revisionist website, and then write a “critical thinking” essay on the Holocaust, I now believe that this was not a good thing. Today’s children need to know the accepted beliefs in America, whether these beliefs are true or not.

If a student wants to get a good job in America, he or she needs a progressive education in a progressive college, and they need to be able to regurgitate all the accepted details of the Holocaust.  A young person, who persists in reading Holocaust denial websites, should be advised that they will have to start their own company because they will not get a job in corporate America.

BTW, my father never read Huck Finn. He didn’t have a Common Core education. He never even made it past the 4th grade. So how was he able to get a job in corporate America? He didn’t. In fact, he NEVER had a job; he bought a truck and became a truck driver, working on his own.  He eventually founded a multi-million dollar, nation-wide trucking company, which is still in business.

Students who live in the 4 states in America, which do not have the Common Core, can always get a job as a truck driver. Or they can start their own business.
