“Megan Kelly isn’t doing pretty well”

The title of my blog post is a quote from a news article which you can read in full at https://worldpoliticus.com/2017/06/19/nbc-fire-kelly/

In my humble opinion, the writer of this news article is not doing pretty well either.

Let me say, right up front, that I am a big fan of Megan Kelly. I am also highly critical of her because of her lack of knowledge. She makes frequent mistakes, that could be avoided, if she would just educate herself a little bit.  She should prepare for her interviews so that she doesn’t make stupid mistakes.

I wrote about Megyn Kelly on this previous blog post: https://furtherglory.wordpress.com/2014/09/09/megyn-kellys-interview-with-ward-churchill-on-fox-news/

Megan did not do a good job of interviewing Putin, apparently because she didn’t prepare for the interview by educating herself about Russia.

The news article starts with this quote:

Megyn Kelly isn’t doing pretty well lately, and she made a few fatal mistakes in the last few months. The NBC host may be fired, and everyone has their own version of the story. Kelly made an interview with Alex Jones, and this interview may put an end to her career.

End quote from news article.

The reporter who wrote this “isn’t doing pretty well” either.

I love Megyn Kelly but she is not well educated, and it seems that she does not prepare for her interviews. She is famous for making stupid mistakes in news stories.

I am counting myself as a person who makes stupid mistakes because of not doing enough research before writing something.

The news article continues with this quote:

NBC faced serious criticism after people found out about Kelly’s interview with Jones. There’s nothing wrong in making an interview, but they both opened a sensitive topic, and the final conclusion infuriated Americans. Jones and Kelly talked about the massive Sandy Hook school shooting.

The massacre filled headlines across the country, but this time Jones made people angry, because he was claiming that it’s fake. NBC is criticized for allowing Kelly to make this interview with the conspiracy theorist. But, the network is determined to air the interview.

The parents of children who died in the massacre pressured the network to cancel the airing of this interview, but it seems like the network isn’t ready to hear their words.

NBC News Chairman Andy Lack said that this story will be “edited,” as if that is going to change the pain those parents felt at the very same moment they learned about Jones’ claims.

Americans are angry about the allegations Jones made. How can he say that the death of 20 first-graders and six educators is a hoax? People have every right to boycott the release of this interview, because it’s too disrespectful for all the innocent children who died.

Jones said that Kelly lied [to] him about the topics they’d discuss over, adding that she assured him how the question of the Sandy Hook massacre will never be opened.

End quote

Everything about this subject is painful, but we must fact facts.
