Joan Rivers [Joan Alexandra Molinsky] had a Holocaust tattoo on her arm

According to this website http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/09/04/joan-rivers-dead-81-surgery_n_5745042.html Joan Rivers had a tattoo put on her arm in 2014, which said 6M in honor of the 6 Million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust.

This quote is from the website:

Earlier in 2014, she got inked: a half-inch-tall tattoo, “6M,” on the inside of her arm representing 6 million Jews killed in the Nazi Holocaust.

I was a big fan of Joan Rivers, starting back in the 1960s when she was on TV cracking jokes.  I remember one joke about a young girl with big boobs: “She could not see her coloring box.”

I read one of her books about 20 years ago. She told about her early days, when she had a hard time establishing her career as a comedienne, but she never gave up.

  1. You mean: this this type of stand up acts?

“WE said: get out”, “Of course WE gonna do it”.
    Who are “WE”?
Is she representing the Americans, or international Jewry?

    So much love for mankind.

“She was an unapologetic, militant Zionist Jew.

    I second the motion.

    • When is everybody gonna stop buying into this BS,that she got a tat? She’s she to vain for that. What next? Is everybody gonna believe an “actual president” occupies the Oval Office ? Look at the timing of this, right before she dies. I don’t care if you got a pic of her sitting in the parlor,in the artist chair. Like I said closest she would’ve come to getting inked is getting her arm stenciled. She didn’t care for the cosmetic appearance of her arms. Why would get marked there? She didn’t want attention drawn to her arms

  2. I lived in the U.S. for 23 years and have never heard about Joan Rivers until she died. Was she someone important and significant? What was wrong with the last name “Molinsky”?

Joan was a celebrity . Yeah we got people like Joan Rivers and Robin Williams that died. Every damn magazine and scandal sheet has their faces splattered all over them. Did you catch the part where Lauren Bacall ( I’m not sure if the spelling is correct on her last name) died? No she didn’t get hardly any recognition from the magazines. I was in shock when Time put out a Lauren Bacall memory magazine ( I guess that’s what you’d call it) She was married to Humphrey Bogart at one time. At any rate she had more “class” in her little finger than these two idiots put together. Lauren was in Hollywood ,when it was still going through growing pains. Why did Joan not like her last name? Vanity . Plain and simple. That and another reason was why there’s no way in hell she would’ve gotten inked with “6m”. Yeah . She was obnoxious as hell. I liked her she was a good comedian. I always refer to her as the “female Don Rickles”. Sometimes she would sit in for Johnny Carson when he was on one of his many “vacations or extended days off.” I’m not sure if you’ve heard of him. Carson was another person who made it possible for all these other so called late night talk show hosts to even exist. He was called “king of late night ” for a reason. All the other late night talk show hosts are 2nd rate compared to this man. Go on YouTube and you can find clips of Joan on there. Like I said though,be warned she was an obnoxious bitch. That’s half of what made her appeal though

      • Lauren Bacall was a big hit in her first movie, when she was 19 years old. The movie was entitled “To Have and Have Not,” and was loosely based on Ernst Hemingway’s story. In 1944, when this movie came out, literally everyone went to the movies at least two or three times a week, since there was no TV. Bacall became instantly famous because of her unique looks and her acting ability. Lauren Bacall was more famous than Joan Rivers, although young people today don’t know her.

      • Tim,
I did not ask, if she was a “celebrity, or not. I asked how important and significant she was altogether. There is an old Latin adage:
“De mortuis aut bene, aut nihil”
(“About the dead: either good, or nothing”)
But following that late “comedienne” line, I would assume her “6M” tattoo was some kind of a joke. Can we all laugh together?
I am not interested in watching her shows on youtube, especially after you have forewarned me that she is obnoxious.
I would rather listen to some Prussians military marches.

        • Oh yeah ? “Ad Astra Per Aspera”. I know a thing or two about Latin jag off. Another variation on the saying,” it’s unwise to speak ill of the dead” “Assume” when you assume it makes an “Ass/u/me”. I’m cutting you some slack slick. 23 yrs its demonstrable you’ve still a rough time with English . I’m guessing this “is not” your native language. This one short article provided you with an abundance of obfuscation . It’s clearly written in there what the “6m” stood for . Did you miss that one? Follow me here Susie . The 6 M represent the 6 million lost in the cleansing process. Ok?

          • Tim,

You got it right. English is not my native language. Tell you even more: I have never taken even a single hour of formal English class. My choice of foreign language studies was German from the third grade through college.
But, I am not complaining and you don’t need to cut me some slack.
Maybe you should read my English translation of a very controversial topic, which I did for one of my opponents?
You would be able to judge my English skills by comparing it with the original in Russian.

            English:

            http://english.battlefield.ru/analytics/137-katyn-revised.html

            Russian:

            http://www.battlefield.ru/katyn-revised.html

The translation is literally ad verbatim.

And yes, I have heard and followed the story of 6 M for the past two decades.
Ask me what you need to know about it.

            • Peggy Sue ! Bravo and kudos to you ! We will add “Kraut” language to your list of accolades in the communication department. I dated a lady back in the late 70’s. She was American Indian. The Choctaw Nation. No,I’m not fluent. Speak enough to get by if I have to. I learned Spanish from a guy that works for me. He’s from Guatemala . He came her to America and has stayed under political refugee status. Seems the jackass that runs the show in Guatemala ,”hates” Mayans. This idiot thought he would follow in dear ol uncle Adolph’s footsteps. Hitler just holds the “official record ” for bumping off the most people ( you ask me “Papa Joe” (Stalin) came damn close if not past Adolph’s record for wasting people . Should’ve put him on trial). At any rate Salvador had to either leave or end up taking a state sponsored dirt nap. Seriously. Go look up a Joan Rivers video on YouTube . Like I said she was an obnoxious ,arrogant bitch, but that’s how she managed to successfully market herself. Like I said she was influenced by Don Rickles and Lenny Bruce. Bruce got poped and put on trial on an obscenity charge. Joan was no different than these other comedians. When she first started male comics pretty much dominated . I admire the hell outta the lady. Nobody was safe when this lady was around. Hell she’s nailed princess Di and the Queen before. They thought it was hilarious. She’d make sport of everybody, but she’d nail herself twice as hard. One of her more memorable bits was when she would talk about seeing her gynaecologist . She said she’d have her feet in the stirrups and she’d ask him,”how does everything look down there?” She said he’d say,” hard to tell, too many cobwebs down here.” Jimmy Buffett sang one time,”through all of our running and all of our cunning,if we couldn’t laugh,we would all go insane.” Seriously though ,look up some of her stand up acts

    • Joan Rivers changed her name because, when she was just starting out, it was common for Jews to change their names to something that doesn’t sound Jewish. Jews have been hated since the beginning of time, so many of them don’t want anyone to know that they are Jewish.

You can read a list of Jews who changed their names at https://www.stormfront.org/forum/t20615/

  3. Huffington post. Why not read the globe or enquirer. This story is bulls**t for 2 reasons. Vanity and finding a tat artist that’s gonna do it. She went to her plastic surgeon, because she was wanting loose skin on the bottom of her arms “toned up”. He refused because she would not get the desired results. She couldn’t find anyone to do it. She was threatening to go to a plastic surgeon In mexico( she might as well got in a game of Russian Roulette if she was gonna go the Mexico route). Why would someone draw attention to a part of their anatomy that they’re not happy with ? Yeah. She recognized the plight of her people, but she was like Don Rickles and Mel Brooks . Just like them she had some of the best Jew jokes in the world. I remember her in her younger days when she was either a guest or would sub for Carson when he didn’t want to do his show. She had some good ones that she’d crack. You ain’t gonna find a responsible artist that will put a tat on you, where the skin has pretty much lost its elastic quality . I tried getting mine to put a tat on a nice Lil scar that was courtesy of an NVA AK-47 . He wouldn’t do it because he said over the years gravity is gonna raise hell with it and its not gonna look like it did the day I got it . Somebody may have stenciled on her,but I’m hard pressed to believe she had ink put to skin

    • Maybe she had only a fake tattoo, which could be peeled off if necessary. You are correct that the arms of an 81 year old person are wrinkled and not suitable for a real tattoo.

  5. the black Rabbit has an interesting item on Dachau with a picture of the attic above the alleged gas chamber. There is also a picture of the exterior in 1946 showing the flaps were in place by then.

    • Great photos. Thanks for linking to them. I had a chance to go to Dachau on a group tour in 1957, but I didn’t go. The thought of a gas chamber where a roomful of people were killed was too much for me; it was too horrible to even think about. I wish now that I had gone, and taken photos. I was using a Speed Graphic camera and 4 x 5 film back then, and I could have gotten some good photos before changes to the room were made. I would have been able to determine whether it was a real gas chamber, since I had seen the gas chamber in Jefferson City, MO. I assume that, back then, visitors were allowed to see the hallway behind the gas chamber where the Zyklon-B was allegedly put into the room through the shower heads.

      • Yes the Black Rabbits photos confirm my opinion that the ceiling wasn’t lowered by the liberating US psych ops guys although they may have stuck those shower heads on for effect. This leaves the question though of what was the purpose of those pipes and push buttons which were filmed in the famous documentary for ? I had thought they supplied the water for the showers which had been removed when the ceiling was lowered.
Maybe it was used as a gas chamber but not of a homicidal variety but to add to the five fumigating chambers they already had due to the need for increased capacity as a consequence of the large number of new inmates ?
        More investigation needed !

        • The Baracke X building was located OUTSIDE the concentration camp. Dachau was not a camp specifically for Jews; it was not a “death camp.” Most of the prisoners in the Dachau camp were Polish resistance fighters, or French resistance fighters.

When Jews were brought to Dachau, they arrived on a train, then walked 3 kilometers from the train station to the camp. They did not enter the camp through the Arbeit Macht Frei gate, but rather walked, on a path outside the camp, to the Baracke X building, where they took a shower.

Their clothes were disinfected in the disifection chambers at one end of the Baracke X building. Then they were given striped uniforms to wear and transported to the sub-camps of Dachau to work. There were 11 Kaufering sub-camps, where most of them were sent.

At the very end of the war, the Jews were brought from the sub-camps to the main camp. Many people believe that they were marched from the sub-camps to the main camp for the purpose of killing them by marching. Others believe that the purpose of bring them to the main camp was to consolidate the prisoners who that they could be turned over to the Allies.

I have photos on my website, which show the entrance to the camp, where the Jews walked to Baracke X, at http://www.scrapbookpages.com/DachauScrapbook/KZDachau/DachauLife01A.html

since before WWI. Check it out.

  7. The tatoo is the sign that the bearer had been really in that hell. i do not understand this form of “solaridity”. A writer sure can find another way to show his attitude and work against racism and negationism.

    Comment by Wolf Murmelstein — September 21, 2014 @ 12:10 pm

    • A tattoo meant that the person was admitted into the camp. The 6 million who were gassed were not tattooed, unless maybe they were admitted into the camp and then gassed at a later time.

      Comment by furtherglory — September 21, 2014 @ 12:24 pm

      • Which 6 million were gassed?
