The famous Jewish boycott of German goods in March 1933

You can read about the famous “International Jewish Boycott of German Goods” on Wikipedia at

The caption on the above photo is this: A rally to boycott Nazi Germany, held at the third Madison Square Garden on March 15, 1937. It was sponsored by the American Jewish Congress and the Jewish Labor Committee. John L. Lewis of the Congress of Industrial Organizations and New York City mayor Fiorello LaGuardia were among the speakers.[1]

The main reason that the Jews rule the world today is because they stick together — they organize. Wherever you find two or more Jews living in the same vicinity, you will find a Jewish organization which meddles in the affairs of the whole population.  You can read about the Holocaust memorials in America in this essay by Mark Weber:

When I visited the US Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC, I saw photographs of the German boycott of Jewish stores on April 1, 1933. The caption on one of the photos mentioned that “there was talk of an American boycott of German goods” but didn’t say whether this boycott had actually happened. An American boycott of German goods had been declared by Rabbi Stephen Wise on March 23, 1933, the same day that the German Congress voted to give Hitler dictatorial powers under the Enabling Act. The German one-day boycott was supposedly intended to stop the news stories of Nazi atrocities which were being printed in Jewish newspapers.

Every Holocaust survivor, who is out on the lecture circuit today, speaking to 5th graders in America, begins his or her talk by telling these gullible young children about how wonderful it was in Germany before that evil monster Hitler came along, and for no reason at all, started Holocausting the innocent Jews, who had never done anything wrong in the entire history of the world.  Oh, the humanity!

I was born in 1933, and when I first heard about the International boycott of German goods, I almost kicked the slats out of my crib. I assumed that every one in the world knew about the International boycott, but apparently I was wrong.

Today, it would be hard to find a class of 5th graders in America, in which a Holocaust survivor has not given a talk. I previously blogged about a speech given by a Holocaust survivor at

You can hear Holocaust survivor Marion Blumenthal-Lazan speak in a YouTube video entitled “Four Perfect Pebbles,” which is also the title of her Holocaust survivor book.

This quote is from my previous blog post, cited above:

Marion [Blumenthal-Lazan] continued her talk by saying that in 1935, discrimination against the Jews in Germany began, although she does not give any hint, as to why the German people might have been against the Jews. She said that Kristallnacht was the “beginning of a massive pogrom” against the Jews, although she didn’t explain the word “pogrom,” nor did she explain the events that led up to Kristallnacht. Throughout her talk, Marion did not give the slightest reason why Jews were persecuted in Nazi Germany.

Because of the discrimination against the Jews in Germany, Marion’s family obtained “papers for America” and were scheduled to leave Germany when Kristallnacht happened on November 9, 1938. Her father was one of the Jewish men who were sent to Buchenwald, but he was soon released because he already had papers for his family to leave Germany.

In January 1939, the Blumenthal family prepared to set sail for America. In December 1939, the family went to Westerbork, in Holland, to wait for passage to America. Unfortunately, in May 1940, Germany invaded Holland and that ended Marion’s dream of going to America.

In her talk to the students, Marion did not mention that Jews were having a hard time leaving Germany because other countries in Europe would not take them. She did not explain that, even in America, there were severe restrictions on how many Jewish immigrants were allowed to come in.

Finally, Marion gets to the “gas chambers.” Every Holocaust survivor must explain why they were not sent to the gas chamber, especially when they were younger than 15 years old, while in a camp. Keep in mind that, at this point in her talk, Marion has not mentioned that Bergen-Belsen was an EXCHANGE camp. She implies that Bergen-Belsen was an “extermination camp” and since her family had not been exterminated yet, she says that they were put on one of the “three trains to the gas chamber in April 1945.”

  1. The Jewish boycott of German goods was sabotaged by Zionists in exchange of the Ha’avara agreement and the transfer of German jews to the Middle East. What better way of sabotaging a movement and keeping it under control than by leading it? Stephen S. Wise and Samuel Untermyer were both Zionists wanting to transfer as many German Jews as possible to Palestine, what required the preservation and even the reinforcement of Nazi Germany and her economy. Zionists also needed to increase the marginalization of German Jews as much as possible. So foreign Zionists led propaganstic attacks against Nazi Germany. Stephen Wise was a master of anti-German atrocity propaganda in the 1930s. As expected by Rabbi Wise and his clique, Nazi leaders reacted to the Zionist defamation campaign with laws marginalizing German Jews more and more. By doing that (i.e. supporting the emergence of a powerful antisemitic state in Europe on one hand and making the Nazi leaders angry at Jews on the other hand), Zionists only followed the principles of their spiritual father, Theodore Herzl.

“It would be an excellent idea to call in respectable, accredited anti-Semites as liquidators of [Jewish] property.” – Theodore Herzl, the founder of political Zionism

“The anti-Semites will become our most dependable friends, the anti-Semitic countries our allies.” – Theodore Herzl

“It is essential that the sufferings of Jews…become worse… this will assist in realization of our plans…I have an excellent idea… I shall induce anti-Semites to liquidate Jewish wealth… The anti-Semites will assist us thereby in that they will strengthen the persecution and oppression of Jews. The anti-Semites shall be our best friends”. (Herzl’s Diary, Part I, pp. 16)

Until in early 1939, the Zionist transfer operation worked wonderfully: the Jewish population in Palestine raised from 200,000 to 600,000 and many Jewish settlements were built and developed with the money of the transfered German Jews. But during the first half of 1939, a catastrophe occured. Under Arab pressure, Britain passed the “White Paper of 1939”, imposing drastic limitation on Jewish immigration to Palestine, what endangered the survival of the Zionist dream itself. Zionists were furious and they instantly protested against Britain’s new policy massively. WW2 broke out a few months later. During WW2, Zionists increased their campaign of atrocity propaganda against Nazi Germany, and in November 1942 Stephen S. Wise, him again (!!), ‘disclosed’ for the first time that Hitler had allegedly exterminated 2 million Jews and that he had ordered the complete extermination of Europe’s for the end of the year. The Allies, of course, integrated the Zionist horror stories about Hitler’s alleged extermination of Europe’s Jews in their propaganda armoury to fight Nazi Germany. The Zionist Holocaust allegations were very similar to the atrocity stories told by the Allies during the previous world war after all. So Holocaust propaganda continued unabated during the following years. But, seeing that the British leaders were still standing firm on their White Paper, in late 1944 and early 1945, when WW2 was patently coming to a close, Zionist leaders dropped their mask and revealed the real reason for their Holocaust propaganda. All the most prominent Zionist leaders like David Ben-Gurion, Chaim Weizmann, Stephen S. Wise, Nahum Goldmann and Abba Hillel Silver blamed the democracies for the Holocaust. According to them, the democracies were guilty for the Holocaust because they had failed to stop it and they (especially Britain) had prevented the rescue of threatened Jews by keeping the gates of Palestine closed. The (alleged) 6 million dead Jews slaughtered by Hitler had created a moral obligation for the victorious Allies to open the gates of Palestine for “the remnants of European Jewry” (i.e. the Displaced Persons or DP’s still kept in concentration camps and waiting for their transfer to Palestine) and to establish a Jewish state/commonwealth there. In other words, according to Zionist leaders, the British White Paper had just killed 6 million Jews and Britain could be cleared of her murderous sin only by transferring large numbers of Jews to Palestine and by establishing an autonomous Jewish state in the Holy Land, with the help of the other victorious democracies, especially America.

“The aim of our efforts is to organize a systematic massive Jewish evacuation from all the countries in which they live.” – Zionist leader & Holohoax propagandist [through the Bergson Group’s campaigns in America, especially the theatrical kitschy “We Will never Die!” tour of 1943 in major U.S. cities] Ze’ev Jabotinsky, 1936.

43:00 “The Germans murdered 2 Million Jewish civilians without trouble. The Germans are murdering the surviving 4 Million Jewish civilians of Europe without trouble.”. (“We Will Never Die!”, early 1943)

  2. Minor typo in your excellent review ; the boycott announced by Rabbi Stephen Wise would have been in March 1933 not March 1945.

    • Thank you so much for telling me about this error. I have changed it to March 1933.

  3. I’m not sure about the dates, but I think Hillel Kook (aka Peter Bergson) an Irgun operative (the militant Zionist paramilitary organization that terrorize Palestinians in the British Mandate) working in Wash DC with a group of other Zionists that included Hollywood screenwriter Ben Hecht was responsible for organizing and promoting the Madison Square Garden rally. The Bergson Boys ginned up and often made up German atrocity stories and spread them throughout the print and broadcast media using contacts in these professions and in government to present a far bleaker image of Jewish suffering in Germany than was real. This is the only extant book about them in English. Though not an official Bergson Boy, congressional lobbiest/fixer Maurice Rosenblatt worked with them in manufacturing and spreading propaganda and pressuring congressmen to go to war against Germany and afterwards to create councils and appropriate funds for the rescue and relocation of Jewish war refugees. Something to remember when considering the boycott of Germany is the role Jewish gangsters played in US power politics. Al Capone and Senator Joseph Kennedy both worked with Chicago’s Jewish Purple Gang in distributing Canadian liquor during the prohibition era. Walter Winchell, the Jewish NY gossip columnist was a famous “friend” of warmongers including The Bergson Boys.

  5. What’s “the third Madison Square Garden?” How many Madison Square Gardens ARE there?

    Comment by Jett Rucker — October 7, 2014 @ 8:37 am

    • I’m not sure, but I think that Madison Square Garden was remodeled a couple of times and made larger.

P.S. I looked it up on Wikipedia and found this: “It is the fourth venue to bear the “MSG” name, the first two (1879) and (1890) of which were located on Madison Square, on East 26th Street and Madison Avenue, with the third Madison Square Garden further uptown at Eighth Avenue and 50th Street.”
