To get a true flavour of the arrogant and cynical nature of this selfish – often drunk – individual, named Winston Churchill, then how about this statement;-
“History will be unkind to Neville Chamberlain, because I shall be writing the history.”
Say what you will about Chamberlain, but he did at least attempt to prevent war breaking out by his policy of “appeasement”. OK, he was the prime minister of a major European power that wanted to preserve its own interests in Europe and around the world, and was obviously preparing for a possible outbreak of hostilities by massively expanding the Royal Air Force, and preparing the Royal Navy.
At the same time, however, he did make several trips to Germany to try and save the peace. But the trouble was – he wanted to preserve as much of the post-WW1 settlement as he could ( which was very favourable to both Britain and France ), while Germany was seeking its total dismemberment. Hitler regarded the Versailles Treaty as an abomination, and a source of national shame for Germany.

If not for Hitler, we would ALL be living under communism–still today. Hitler saved our ungrateful asses! Hitler saved us from our own stupidity.
America deserves Bernie Sanders as President–that will be a true “learning experience.” The smiles will rule at first–but after that, “terror” will prevail to make things work again, somehow–or other. And after awhile, we will all be cheering for a “new” Hitler to save us. Repeat, repeat, repeat!
I was once asked in court by a judge whether I was a “Nazi.” I said “no” because I was annoyed by that loaded question and wanted to simply move on. I should have said that given the circumstances that Germany faced in the early 1930’s, I would definitely be a Nazi as well–but, but, but the world has changed for the better after the horrors of WW2. The US, which was the “arsenal for communism” during WW2, became almost magically the “arsenal against communism” after WW2. That was a fantastic change. Today, “national-socialism” prevails, silently, in most of the countries of the world including the US, and Israel–but not Germany. “Dictatorship” with “lipstick” (Germany today) is widely accepted as an alternative to things which are, supposedly, far worse.

How?
Hitler’s invasion of the USSR and subsequent ejection caused the SPREAD of Communism into Eastern Europe, an area staunchly anti-Communist. Except for the USSR there were no Communist countries in Europe.

Hitler’s invasion of the Soviet Union in June of 1941 inflicted so much pain on the Soviets that by the end of the war, even though they were among the “victors,” they could not get past the center of Germany. They had imagined, even well before May of 1941, that with their vast material superiority they would “liberate” all of Europe–and with America infiltrated at the highest levels by Soviet agents, America would fall soon thereafter. The man designated to replace Roosevelt during most of the war was Henry Wallace who, although not a communist himself, was as pro-Soviet as anyone could be without being an actual party member.
But then, a strange thing happened, Roosevelt’s vice-president became Harry Truman in 1945–and after Roosevelt’s death, Truman became president and turned on America’s “greatest ally” during the war. That saved our asses after the war. But during the war itself and before the miraculous appearance of Harry Truman, the man who saved us was Adolf Hitler.

Hess’s flight to Scotland (if it was the real Hess) seems really stupid, risking his life breaching enemy lines, why wouldn’t Hess have gone to a diplomat and given the peace plans?

Because the British diplomats were in the bed of Britain’s warmongers. Hess had to try to reach the few men wanting peace with Germany in Britain.

If that’s the case Hitler obviously didn’t know about it, which is why he said “Hess” was insane. The British seemed to think he was insane too and sent many psychiatrists to interview him. Meanwhile, Germany did not take advantage of the press and push for peace. I think Hitler said Hess was insane because he could definitely not look like a weak leader at that critical moment of WW2 with another peace offer and the ‘sacrifice’ of the number three man in the Reich. There is nothing worse for a nation at war than belief in the weakness of its leader. Moreover it was better for the sake of Hess himself to be depicted as an unsane guy acting alone than as the successor of Hitler after Goering in Allied custody. IMO, the plan was to claim that Hess was an unsane guy acting individually if the peace mission was a failure and to admit that he was the envoy of Hitler only if the peace mission was successful.

Much better for British prestige to say that Hess was an unsane lonely man rather than an official envoy of Hitler in peace mission. Don’t forget Hitler was supposedly a megalomaniac warlord out for world domination in Allied propaganda. Hitler’s numerous peace offers were/are quite embarrassing for that narrative.

Oh, and crazy train, it is a common misconception that the Nazis gassed six million Jews. About 2.5 million Jews died in the gas chambers. The rest died from being shot, malnutrition, disease and maltreatment. Even a lot of deniers acknowledge that Jews died due to the harsh conditions of the camps and ghettos.

Could you give us a list of the camps that had gas chambers, along with how many Jews died in each of these gas chambers? The Nazis didn’t keep records of the names of the Jews that they gassed. How are these deaths known by the True Believers?

The “16 point proposal” put forward by Germany regarding Danzig and “the Polish Corridor” doesn’t seem particularly belligerent or aggressive in tone to me. After all, Danzig was really a German city anyway, whose people were overwhelmingly German, not Polish, and who wanted to be included in the Reich.
Poland had its own trading port city of Gdynia nearby, but there is no demand in these proposals to take it over. It states quite clearly that Gdynia should remain as part of Poland, with free and open access to it secured by treaty.
In fact, the proposals consider the question of Polish national interests as well as German ones. Point 14 states;- “Neither country shall expect of the minority of the other that it renders services incompatible with national honor. Hence Germans will not ask military services of the Polish minority nor Poles of the German minority.”
In point 11, it states;- “To eliminate bad feeling, both Danzig and Gydnia are to be purely trading centers, hence demilitarised.” Thus, the Germans are not seeking to turn Danzig into a naval or military garrison that can threaten its neighbour. It even offers Poland equal economic rights in Danzig.
Germany is not demanding an immediate takeover of “the Polish Corridor”, but an international peace force to move in ( which would include even Soviet forces! ) so that a plebiscite can take place within 12 months.
And lastly; these are merely German proposals for discussion. They are not a final demand which is being thrust forward on a “take it or leave it” basis. Britain, France and Poland could have submitted their own proposals at the negotiating table – but it seems they were not prepared for any discussion, let alone compromise.
Was Britain playing a reckless game here at Poland’s expense? By that stage, had Chamberlain and his government decided that they wanted war with Germany, and were forcing Hitler into a position where he had to launch hostilities or back down in humiliation with his proposals unmet?
It is interesting to note the radio address by Anthony Eden ( Britain’s Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs ) on the 11th September 1939, where he states:-
“There can be no peace until Nazism…is banished from the earth”. The people of Great Britain were waging war on Germany “with a clear conscience” – ready for a long war.”
My oh my! – we are not even a fortnight into hostilities, and this gentlemen representing the British government is calling for a large-scale, ongoing war that can only end with the complete annihilation of the enemy.

I also wonder if you actually read Ian Kershaw’s biography of Hitler, Jim. I did, it is really one of the best biographies of Hitler I’ve ever read. Maybe you should, it might do you some good.

Ridiculous. This Jew claims he’s a ‘Holocaust denier’ because the word ‘holocaust’ literally means ‘wholy burnt’ (what is true) and most of the Jews [allegedly] killed by the Nazis were not cremated at Auschwitz but shot on the Eastern front and starved or worked to death in other concentration camps. But Kevin Myers ‘omits’ Paul Blobel and his magic outdoor pyres (Eastern front, Reinhardt camps), as well as the fact that most of the other concentration camps had crematory ovens. So Myers’ ‘other Jews’ were also cremated anyway, according to the exterminationist narrative itself. Ignorance? Or deliberate bamboozlement attempt? Unimportant. Another exterminationist failure for sure…
