Holocaust survivor, who lost 35 relatives in the Holocaust, now lives in Berlin

Why would a Jew, who had 35 relatives killed by the Germans in the Holocaust, want to live in the German city of Berlin? Why don’t the elderly Holocaust survivors want to live in Israel?

There were dramatic scenes at the trial of a 94-year-old former SS guard [Reinhold Hanning] in Germany yesterday Thursday as he was confronted by an Auschwitz survivor.

[Leon] Schwarzbaum, a former art dealer who now lives in Berlin, survived Auschwitz but lost 35 members of his family in the Holocaust.

The Jews apparently have no fear of being Holoausted again by the Germans, and Berlin now belongs to the Jews.
