decoy “showers” [were] used by the Nazis to murder Jews

My photo of the birch trees at Birkenau

The Birkenau camp was named after the birch trees that grow there. These trees are a long way from the entrance to the Birkenau camp, and they don’t provide much shade.

According to a news article, which you can read in full here, the Jews are now complaining about the mist that is being sprayed on visitors to the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial site, in order to keep them cool. Cool as in keeping cool during hot summer days, not cool as in “being cool.”

The following quote is from the news article:

Begin quote

Shower-like misters are back at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, one year after similar cooling devices were removed [at the main Auschwitz camp] after an outcry.

Installed to help visitors beat the heat at the site of the former Nazi death camp in Poland, the misters are again leading to complaints that they are reminiscent of the decoy “showers” used by the Nazis to murder Jews.

End quote

Fake shower heads were allegedly used, during World War II, in the Auschwitz I camp in Poland and in the Mauthausen camp in Austria, but at that time, Zyklon-B gas allegedly came out of the shower heads, not water.

Last year, the mist showers were being used at the main Auschwitz camp; this year the mist showers are being used at the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp. This makes more sense since the Birkenau camp is huge [425 acres] and one must walk a long way before finding a tree for shade.

This quote is also from the news article:

Begin quote

“Showers at the entrance gate to the parking lot of Birkenau,” Ostroff wrote. “I don’t know about you but I feel uncomfortable entering a shower at the entrance of a death camp.”

During the Holocaust, victims of the Nazis’ industrialized murder machine, including millions of Jews, were told to strip before entering gas chambers that they believed were showers.

End quote

It’s always something. If it is not one thing, it is another. There is no satisfying the Jews.

  1. It’s stories like this that never make sense. They’re almost contradicting. If the nazis did everything that history said they did,why would they need to dupe anyone,in to thinking the showers were nothing more than showers. I mean here we got the people, that supposedly bashed in the heads of little babies, when they came off the transport. Does that sound like a group of people that actually give a shit,if the Jews know the showers are gas houses? History has described the nazis as the mother of all assholes. If that’s the case, why would they extend any empathy towards the Jews period? Telling tall tales that the gas houses are no more than showers. I’ve heard a lot of stories about Jews that were on the run from the nazi bloodhounds. They may have each had different stories, but they all had one common thread. They said,”we heard what happens to the Jews that the nazis pack off to the prisons”. Okay,if that’s the case, wouldn’t it make sense that the Jews would be coming up with a plan to save their asses, when the train hit the end of the line? I sure as shit would be. I don’t know the ratio of guards to inmates, but I’m pretty sure there were enough Jews and other assorted nuts,to over power the guards when they got to the prison. Yeah. Some people are gonna lose their lives, but at the end of the day,I’m pretty sure they would’ve come out on top.? There’s to many variables here,to believe that they would have to lie about the gas huts to the Jews, like history said they did. If they did in fact lie about the gas houses, that’s gonna tell me,they gave a shit about people. If that’s the case, how could the nazis just flat out murder people? Shit like that, shows me they had somewhat of a respect for their fellow man. Even for the Jews . Im still trying to figure out, where Hitler out right advocates the murder of Jews . One part in Mein Kampf,he actually speaks highly of the Jews . He made a comment about how the Zionist,we’re trying to f–k over the liberal Jews . He commented about a conflict between the zionists and the liberal Jews . He made the comment about the rift between the Jews and zionists being false. He said that was a direct contradiction in the “moral dignity that race had always prided themselves on. I’m not saying he wasn’t put off by the Jews, but some of the things he said, makes outright murder of the Jews, seem like a helluva reach. Another thing that’s bothered me. If you’re gonna try to raise hell and take on the whole world, why would you at the same time try to take on such a big task as killing every Jew out there? Where does that make sense?

  2. At least this time they don’t believe that poison gas might come out of the ‘showerheads’ (mist sprayers) instead of water at any time. There is progress. Slow progress, but progress nevertheless… 😉

  3. This movie has some scenes of young Israelis being herded through the Auschwitz experience by elders who are initiating them into the Holocaust horror cult. When I landed in Goa, India some years back I checked into the Shalom Guest House, a small hotel that catered to young Israelis. I checked out 24 hours later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYF7opH-9do

Did you mean to do that or did you do that by accident?

How does one move out of a hotel by accident?

    • At least you lived up to your pen name – “who dares wings”. You were certainly a very daring tourist to be brave enough to share a night in the same hotel with a bunch of young Israelis. And then you promptly “winged it” the following day. That was prudent – and I commend you for your hasty departure.

      • Yes, I’m sure his life was at risk from a bunch of young Jews.
I’m sure that if he remained they would have served him up at Passover for dinner.

    • Correction:

Why did you (who dares wings) stay at a Jewish motel? Did you mean to stay at that hotel? If so, why?

  4. It wasn’t a death camp and there were no showers that delivered murderous gas so what on earth are they complaining about?

    • “It wasn’t a death camp”

      Oh, so sorry, it was.

Maybe you are mistaking Birkenau with Auschwitz I or Monowitz.

“and there were no showers that delivered murderous gas so what on earth are they complaining about?”

You are correct, the showers did not deliver murderous gas, the gas chambers did.

  5. The story keeps changing, when they get exposed for the lies they just make another story up and the Dumbo goyim go along with it it’s always been that way and it always will be.

    • Jim, WTF does that comment have to do with water misters?

      Comment by Jeff K. — August 7, 2016 @ 9:37 am

      • Has nothing to do with it I was just thinking out loud

  6. I actually find this annoying. The water misters are everywhere, they are a good idea to keep people cool while they stroll around. It’s a good way to prevent heat exhaustion or sunstroke.

The Jews complaining about this need to get over it.

I don’t agree. People who can’t stand the heat should not be going to Auschwitz in the heat of the summer. They should go in the fall when the weather is nice.

What about people who are wearing clothing that should not get wet, such as a silk blouse or shirt? Check your clothing to see if the tag reads: “Dry clean only.” Water spots will ruin silk clothing.

      • Why would someone wear silk anything to walk around Birkenau?
