Donald Trump and “The picture of Dorian Gray”

Has anyone noticed that photos of Donald Trump are beginning to look like the pictures of Dorian Gray, who was a character in an 1890 novel?

In the story of the novel, Dorian remains young and handsome as he gets older, but his picture in a painting gets more and more ugly. The painting ages, but Dorian doesn’t.

When the most recent Presidential campaign started, the first words out of The Donald’s mouth, as the candidates walked on stage, were “look at that face” referring to a female candidate, Carly Fiorina.  Now, I am saying “look at that face” referring to Trump. His photos have become more and more ugly. I have not seen him in real life, so I don’t know if he is really as ugly as his recent photos.

  1. Trump’s story reminds me of The Picture of Dorian Gray in reverse. To me the ugliness that is a hallmark of Trump is reflected in how he looks today. If he continues to age progressively in this manner he will truly look like a monster in four years. Each day he does something even more repulsive such as speaking to the Boy Scouts in such a hate-filled manner to turning his back on his own AG who was loyal to him. He simply does not have admirable qualities. He is an awful role model.

    • yeah? Illegal border crossings have dropped by 40%. That figure come from INS. That many less wetbacks in the country. That much less crime committed by wetbacks. Let’s not forget when Barry was in office,he didn’t mind throwing Hillary under the bus. You talking about AG Yates? Don’t forget she refused to back him on an executive order of his . How many executive orders did Barry sign in office? That son of a bitch had writers cramp signing all of them. Did anyone ever question his black ass ? Not no,but hell no. It’s not written anywhere, that you have to agree with the president. Fact is,he was elected (don’t start with any BS,that Russia rigged the election). After a few months in Nam,I didn’t agree with our president wanting us to fight there. Bottom line my president told me to fight,so I did. This bitch, who Trump appointed,f–ked him so f–k her. I’m still waiting to hear why he’s a president. Last month,220,000 jobs were added . That’s about the same numbers under Barry . He doesn’t want wets in the country? Neither do I. Live in south Texas, you’ll see my point. He wants to build a wall. Great ! We gotta do something. People that think the wall is impossible, are tiny thinkers. We don’t mind investing in an overinflated price tag for a new and improved Air Force one,but protect our citizens and people blow a fuse. We gonna start on his Jew boy son in law and his BS with Russia ? Either charge him or shut the f–k up. There’s plenty of shit we could’ve charged Barry with, but nobody did. I’ll be the first to admit,Trump can say some stupid ass shit, but that’s not a crime. Barry was capable of saying stupid shit too. People either need to come up with concrete shit on Trump,or stop being such big ass titty babies. Boo f–kin hoo. Cry me a river.

Donald wears a long red necktie that covers his fat belly. He has no hair on the top of his head, and he covers his bald spot with a wig that is sometimes gray and sometimes blond. I have never seen him walking with a cane. Maybe he does, but photographers are forbidden to photograph the cane.

  3. Selecting for publication only unflattering photos of the famous people that the masses are not supposed to love, isn’t that a classic journalistic trick? How could they know who to hate without that?

  4. Carly Simon was a great singer in the 1960s (You’re So Vain, Jesse, etc.). Did journalism school teach anything about getting names right?

Yes, Journalism School stressed the importance of getting names right. The Journalism school students worked as reporters on a real newspaper. One mistake, and a student got an F.

My first job, after I was graduated from Journalism school was checking every story, for mistakes, before it went to press. Then I checked the first newspaper that rolled off the press.

I was the person who yelled “Stop the Press” if something was incorrect on the front page of the newspaper.

  5. I’m surprised you didn’t bring up the “other” Carly Simon. You remember,”you had one eye in the mirror as,you watched yourself gavotte “.

I still like him well enough. People don’t like him because he’s a radical. He was elected fair and square. Well we got the titty babies crying he wasn’t . They say it was a rigged election. I can say the same thing when Barry got elected.

Speaking of Barry being elected president, he shouldn’t have passed his security clearance. He was friends with that lil bitch, bill ayers.

The name “The Donald” indicates that he is of German heritage. It is common in Germany for men to be known as “the something or other”. It is a term of affection, used by close family members.

What about the blond wig that he has glued to his head, so that it won’t fall off?
